would highly recommend staying at Lava Sky Cabin. The crew are incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even more special.

The cabin itself is cosy, peaceful, and perfectly set amidst nature. Waking up to the breathtaking sunrise with views of Mount Batur and the Black Lava landscape was truly magical.

They also offer comprehensive tour packages, making it easy for you to explore the surrounding beauty and adventures. You’ll truly love this place if you’re someone who enjoys both adventure and peaceful moments in nature.

The villa was very quirky, well finished and furnished.
There are only two units, looking out over the lava fields, lake and straight up Mt Batur.
The views were amazing and it was very tranquil.
A firepit at night, set by the staff, was an added bonus.
The unit is down a steep road, however the staff are always on hand to drive you up or down from town.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and always ready to help.
Breakfast was very good and other meals can, and were, delivered from restaurants in town if required.
We certainly would stay at Lava Sky again.

Amazing views and a truly welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They can also assist with transfers and provide firewood, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience.

I came during a storm, and the access road was incredibly challenging. I’d recommend contacting the accommodation staff and asking them to pick you up, unless you have solid driving experience or a capable vehicle. But aside from that, an amazing experience is waiting for you!!!

This is a very beautiful, quiet, and peaceful place! Beautiful nature, beautiful views, fresh air. The service is better than in 5-star hotels, I give it 10 out of 5. You can order food from them via WhatsApp.

Our stay at Villa Lava Sky was simply magical. From the very first moment, we felt truly welcomed and cared for thanks to the amazing staff — always kind, attentive, and smiling, ready to help with anything we needed.

The views of Mount Batur are absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to such a powerful and peaceful landscape is an unforgettable experience. Every sunrise from the villa feels like a gift.

The cleanliness is impeccable; everything is spotless and beautifully maintained, which makes the stay even more comfortable and relaxing.

But what truly makes Villa Lava Sky special is the people. The kindness and warmth of the staff make all the difference — they don’t just host you, they make you feel at home and part of something special.

We would come back again and again without hesitation. A perfect place to disconnect, enjoy nature, and feel genuinely welcomed.

The location is adorable

It's very private and comfortable, with only 2 rooms available. It maintains the silence of the place, which is really nice.
View is fantastic, of course.

Staff are very helpful, professional, and communicative. The road is really bad, so allow them to shuttle you.
It was very rainy, so there couldn't be a bonfire. But there was a good sunrise =)

It's quite clean and new condition. Bed is comfy.

I didn't order any food but there's some snacks, a kettle, and a fridge available, if need be.
Lots of the small amenities provided: towels, robe, basic toiletries, floor fan, slippers, umbrella, etc.

It's definitely better for a holiday and not expect to have space to pull out a laptop; I was quite minimal for this trip so it didn't bother me at all, but keep that in mind.

A huge thank you to this hotel and its staff — you gave me the best vacation of my life. The hotel is very cozy, and you are taken care of in every possible way. They drove me to a restaurant and recommended delicious dishes worth trying. They took me on a tour, and even though I overslept, the staff did everything they could to make sure I still made it on time.
It’s quite difficult to get down to the hotel, but even that stops being a problem because here they will help you get down, drive out, and even bring your bike up the hill! Whatever you need — they will make it happen. And the view from the window, the terrace, and the nightly bonfire add even more to the amazing overall experience.
