Exceptional stay in a brand new hotel, wonderfull staff and service
Pros:

New hotel, exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff.
Everyone ensured this was a fantastic stay for us.
Special thanks to Mell and David, and one more lady at check in whose name I can’t recall. You all made sure our stay was exceptional. We loved our room, and we will definitely stay here again when we visit Penang again!

Pros:

Die Rezeptionistin war erstklassig, sehr freundlich und serviceorientiert. Das Hotel ist sehr neu und sauber; es lohnt sich definitiv, dort eine oder mehrere Nächte zu verbringen!

Pros:

The rooms, the pool, especially the dressing size 🤩🤩

Cons:

The dressing, toilets and shower can't be locked, so not very convenient when you want to take a shower and the kids are with you in the room as they can open it anytime.

Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, rooms are large, comfortable and lots of natural light. Everything was clean, breakfast was good. Location was ok, on the edge of old town in Georgetown, but lots nearby as well.

Cons:

Our main issue was information, especially at check-in. Not given any information on services/amenities, breakfast, how parking works, given the wrong information when we tried to ask. Led to paying a fair bit for parking when its included (booking.com says its 5MYR a day, its free). To be fair, they are processing a refund, but a lot more information should be provided.

Tried to cancel a room (out of 3 rooms) two days prior - was rejected and dealt with poorly by the hotel. I understand T&Cs, and wasn't expecting to bypass that - but communication is important and along with the above, tainted our stay.

Great chioice overall
Pros:

Lovely five-star hotel overall. The rooms felt truly five-star - very spacious, comfortable bed, great bathroom, and a nice kitchen. Amenities were solid. The entrance/reception area is a really pleasant space to spend time, and breakfast was very good.

Cons:

The swimming pool is quite small and feels more like a four-star standard. Service at reception needs improvement - staff were not very attentive and seemed undertrained. I had to request laundry multiple times and received inconsistent information. Overall, service didn’t match the five-star level and could be more guest-focused.
