Stay at Otaru for the light festival
Pros:

Excellent location as it's right at both the Canal and the Sakaimachi street. Helpful staff. Beds are very comfortable, but they took up a lot of the space in the room. Rooms are modern and clean.

Cons:

The rooftop bar is such a disappointment - over-priced cheese platter, "lousy" wine selection. Not a conducive place to be if you want to chill after a day out. Rooms were tight/small and do not offer an space which you could chill. No space for luggage for 2 pax.

Location was great.

Cons:

Ski bus pick up was at 7:30 a ten minute walk away. With the hotel breakfast starting at 7 it was not enough time. They would not let me pack a Togo breakfast.

Pros:

modern, clean, great buffet with tons of options, easy parking next to hotel for 700 yen for 24 hours. excellent central location by canal, restaurants & shopping.

Cons:

the rooms we chose was tiny hard to fit two people & ski luggage.

5 days hubbing out of this hotel for snowboarding around the region.
Pros:

Very nice hotel with great staff. The rooms are much smaller than we are used to in Australia but for Japan standards they are quite large and very well designed and fitted out.

Happy hour is great value and a great view.

Cons:

I’m a big bloke with snow gear so the room was quite full compared to an apartment, but I was happy to accept the coziness for all the other great benefits the hotel offers.

観光スポットである運河やガラス工房などのお土産店が近く、ロケーションが良かった。
大浴場があり、とても気持ちが良かった。

Cons:

宿泊日数の間違いや朝食付きプランなのに確認漏れだったりと、こちらが不安になるようなちょっとしたトラブルが起こった。
窓から冷気を感じ、窓側が少し寒かった。

ゆったり快適に過ごせました。
Pros:

大浴場と浴場からの眺望、サウナや部屋の中など、落ち着いた雰囲気で、とても良かったと思います。朝食も良かったし、スタッフの応対も親切丁寧で、気持良く過ごすことが出来ました。
