Pros:

Once the booking mistake was detected, the host responded quickly and adapted the room to the 5th person by preparing a sofa bed, bringing a set of sheets, a chair, towels and slippers.

Cons:

The room I booked clearly stated (and showed in the pictures) that it was suited for 5 people, that it had 3 bedrooms and it had a total of 4 beds and 1 futon.
Yet, the room I stayed in only had 2 bedrooms, was only prepared for 4 people (and is only meant to accommodate 4 people) which led one of us to sleep without bed sheets

Very comfortable stay with the option of sleeping on futons or western-style beds, so everyone was happy. Had everything we needed for a cozy two week stay in a great, quiet location.

Had an in-unit washer, but no convenient place to hang up clothes for drying.

Cons:

We booked 3 bedrooms for 2 separate stays, it was very clear that we paid the extra for 3 bedrooms. When arrived for our 1st stay the owner had allocated us 2 bedrooms. In fairness they offered a small discount for the 1st stay but disappointingly not the second. They insisted it was a computer automated error. I can’t fault the property but it wasn’t what we booked.

A comfortable apartment for a family of four that is close to some great restaurants, 7 Eleven and Daiso and easy to get
Pros:

Clean, bright mix of traditional Japanese and modern interior. Both bedrooms were spacious and lots of storage for our family of four large luggage bags 🧳 .
All the facilities were clean and working properly.
Prompt and easy detailed communication with the property owner

Cons:

There was strong gas smell in the stairwell.
We would have loved a foldable drying rack as there was no dryer for our laundry for the clothes.
