Pros:

Super hôtel très moderne dans le style Japonais. Nous avions une chambre avec trois lits très confortables et un petit coin télé, café… La salle de bain est top douche + baignoire. Emplacement super pratique, dans les petites rues à côté, beaucoup de restaurants…. Enfin, le personnel toujours au petit soin pour vous , bravo l’équipe. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir

Rien, à part peut être un petit manque de lumière dans l’entrée !

Pros:

הכל! מלון חדש, שירות ומתקנים מעולים. קומת אונסן לגברים ולנשים ברמה גבוה מאד כולל סאונה. חדר כושר ומיקום מצוין קרוב לרחוב הראשי ולשוק נישקי ומרחק הליכה סביר לשכונת גיון. ממליץ מאד.

Very unique, modern but minimalistic hotel - great stay
Pros:

The whole interior and vibe is very unique, room was spacious, public bath was very clean and high quality, breakfast was very tasty

Cons:

Coffee table was too small for two people (our two laptops barely fit), there was no way to turn off lights in the bathroom

The public baths are just incredible! So relaxing, clean, beautiful and the cosmetics left out are next level. The tatami mats in the rooms are pristine and the beds/ blankets soft and warm.

I would recommend to anyone to stay at yugen kyoto shijo if there’s thinking of staying at kyoto.
Pros:

The communal bath and the overall aesthetic of the hotel. There’s also usb-c port which I find a pleasant surprise, a speaker to pair to play songs and also an air purifier/humidifier. There’s also a lot of channels to play in regards of the tv. I’m also extremely grateful they were able to freeze my ice cream since there’s only a refrigerator in the room. The staff were also extremely helpful with shipping my luggage to another accommodation. There’s also a lot of restaurants and cafes around the area which are all delicious. Public transport is also close where shijo station is around a 10 min walk while the bus stop may be like a 5 min walk.

Cons:

I would say the lights in the bathroom. It’s hard to see under warm light while I do my makeup.
