Casa Ampa has a simple, modern feel that makes it an appealing place to relax. The rooftop and pool areas are lovely, with beautiful views, and we appreciated the king-size bed.
What made the greatest impression was the exceptional care of the management team. The manager and her husband were among the most attentive and accommodating people we have ever encountered at a hotel. They came personally to listen to our concerns, welcomed our suggestions, and showed a sincere interest in our comfort. Communication was consistently responsive, and their warmth made all the difference.
For travelers looking for a relaxed setting near the beach, with a modern aesthetic and remarkably caring people behind it, Casa Ampa is well worth considering.
We noticed a few finishing and maintenance details that needed attention and had difficulty regulating the shower temperature. What we particularly appreciated was how closely management attended to these concerns. They listened carefully, welcomed our suggestions, and followed up with us about steps they were taking. Their response gave us confidence that these issues would be addressed generally and for future guests.
The center of La Punta was a little over a 20-minute walk for us, although the beach is much closer.
La habitación estaba muy limpia. Es una excelente opción para ir a la playa. No está nada lejos y además te dejan una toalla de playa.
Está un poco raro que no haya una diferenciación entre la habitación y el baño. El hotel se encuentra en una zona en construcción por lo que hay mucho ruido durante la mañana.

Amazing and spacious room. Liked the modern style, huge windows and high ceiling.
Bathroom being separated from bedroom just by a concrete wall without doors means there's no privacy.
There's a supply of water in big plastic jugs on each floor but we got poisoning from it so were in a terrible state throughout our stay. So don't drink it as it definitely not good, my water bottled smelled foul after and eventually we saw sediment in water. Guess our fault not checking and trusting the supply...
Swimming pools should not be advertised as such as what's in the property is far from a nice swimming pool.
The bed was comfortable and the view from the upper deck was nice. I liked the space and the amenities were nice. They also had sunscreen and other things to help out.
I didn't like the bathroom disposition in the room, with no door. Also the shower was too close to the wall. But it was ok in general, it's mostly my preference.

The stay is very comfortable and lovely. The room is clean, big bed, air conditioning (which is very important in puerto Escondido) and good shower. The staff is very attentive, helpful and great job in cleaning our room.
The stay has a swimming pool and the staff is cleaning it frequently. It’s a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend.
They are very helpful and responsive with communication, so that’s important.

Fue un poco raro que el baño no fuera tan privado por la falta de puerta, solo un poco más de privacidad estaría bien.
