Categories

Cleanliness
1
Mixed reports: some guests described rooms and amenities as very clean, while others noted a dirty shower, burned/sooty microwave and missing/unclean towels — cleanliness appears inconsistent.
Service
1
Generally positive communication and helpful staff were noted (excellent property communication, helpful clerk, friendly staff). However, limited daily housekeeping and minimal on-site personnel were also reported; overall service interactions were frequently praised.
Location
1
Riverside setting repeatedly praised as relaxing and scenic; some notes that the swimming area was not suitable for school-aged children, but location is a clear positive.
Room Quality
1
Multiple strong negatives: rooms described as small, cold, with inadequate heating solutions, uncomfortable bed configurations, cramped bathrooms, poor kitchen layout and missing furniture — significant room quality issues.
Amenities
1
Mixed amenities: hot tub and sauna were praised and the TV worked well, but guests reported fridge not cold enough, confusing/heater issues, broken remote volume, missing kitchenware and weak Wi‑Fi.
Value for Money
1
Explicit complaints about being overpriced and not worth the charge; missing promised items/services (breakfast, towels) lowered perceived value.
Food and Beverage
1
Negative: several guests reported no breakfast despite booking and limited kitchenware/utensils; food/beverage service expectations were not met.
Overall Experience
1
Mixed overall: pleasant riverside setting, hot tub/sauna and helpful staff provided positive moments, but persistent room quality, cleanliness and value issues tempered the overall stay.

Good stop on the way through, but not a destination in itself
Pros:

This is located in a lovely spot on the map, in the midst of beautiful natural surroundings and on a major road that gets you to National Parks. The hotel staff (Kaylee, not sure if I've spelled this correctly) was very helpful and friendly throughout our correspondence and during our stay. Light breakfast items in the lobby area were a pleasant surprise. Beds were comfortable. We didn't use the outdoor sauna or hot tub but they both had a great view and looked clean and well-tended to.

Cons:

The room itself left something to be desired, as the bathroom was outdated and had no fan to send shower steam out of the room instead of right into it. It was cool enough outside that we wanted some fresh air but one window didn't open and the other had no screen. So in general, the ventilation was complicated. :) Our neighbors had a dog that was barking and we could hear it through the walls; we would have heard it all night were it not for the white noise we turned on.

Beautiful spot; too much money for what you get.
Pros:

Beautiful location on the river with hot tub, sauna, swimming area right on the water.

Cons:

Bathroom was straight out of the 60’s.

Very cute!
Pros:

Cute place, great decor. View and sitting area by the river was beautiful! Staff was super friendly and helpful!

Cons:

Our room was a little small and right to nice around in. Not the fault of the facility, but walls were thin and when the guy in the room next door arrived late, we heard every footstep, suitcase put down and screen door slam.

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had traveling. The desk staff seem to be kind people, but the owner has no id
Pros:

A warning to all guests before you book this Hotel call to ask if there’s air-conditioning in the cabin room. They don’t tell you whether there’s air-conditioning or not, and only some of the rooms have it. They also leave the check-in code to your room on display for any patron to have which is extremely unsafe.

The owner lives in the Philippines and is extremely unhelpful resolving these matters

Cons:

Half of these rooms do not have air-conditioning and during the summer it can get up to 90° in that room for your sleeping conditions.

Also allowing all other patrons to know the code to get into your room if they want to does not make a guest feel very safe at night.

Pros:

I loved the location and all the outdoor amenities--next to the Wind River, space to sit outside, hot tub and sauna. The bed was super comfortable. The in room coffee was excellent. And, the staff were extremely accommodating of a need for a desk to complete a project for work.

Cons:

The things that would have made the room more comfortable-- a chair (even a folding chair to sit on for putting socks on!), some simple hooks or peg hooks on the wall for hanging clothes, and one towel bar for my bath towel.
