2 nights on mactan island before heading home
Pros:

Nice apartment in a pretty modern areal with a pool area and a security guard at the entrance. We were on 11th floor which gave a good view on the sourrounding area and it is even possible to get on the rooftop to watch the sunset. Also the sounds and noises from the streets are really quiet up there and after 3 weeks in the Philippines we valued that you dont hear that many dogs at night. Also you dont meet the staff in person but they always responded quickly on booking for any questions I had.
To the airport it only takes around 20-30 minutes depending on the traffic, tuktuks or grab drivers are easy to find and they know the place for pickup or dropoff. Supermarket (robinson) is in walking distance, but the one I would recommend for buying nice local food souvenirs is the SM which is around 10 min by car / tuktuk.

Cons:

the bed was comfy but a bit noisy maybe due the springs or memory foam, nothing to complain about but worth mentioning if they can improve this in the future

We would stay there again.
Pros:

The staff were very accommodating. They provided us with a cot and high chair for our infant, these appeared to be new purchases.
The room was clean and tidy.
The bed was firm and reasonably comfortable.
The rooms were fairly spacious.
The kitchen had basic utensils and cooking equipment.
The water cooler was easy to use for hot and cold water.
The 2 bedroom apartment was good for our needs, there weren't many 2 bedrooms available and this one was very reasonably priced.
The room was easily accessed with reliable lifts.
The pool was clean well maintained.

A short trike ride from the grand mall and easy walking distance or trike to smaller supermarket. Always lots of rides available

My wife's family could come and visit and use the pool for a small fee depending on the number of people.
The WiFi was good, and we didn't notice any issues with speeds. It did drop out for 24Hrs, and the owners did everything possible to have the service restored, it was out across the entire area, so not something they could have been prevented.

The Shower was OK with hot water on tap.

Cons:

There was no toaster in the kitchen.
The hotplate took some getting used to. Instructions would be helpful.
The doors to the balcony and the shower were difficult to open and close, and the shower water leaked badly to the outside of the door on the shower due to design.
No hot water on tap in the kitchen.
Bed mattresses were a bit squeaky, and very firm.
The building still had some construction work going on which seemed to coincide with our child's nap time every day.

The tiles surrounding the pool were very slippery, its only a matter of time before someone has a bad fall resulting in a serious injury.

The couch in the room was a futon, which had to be positioned at 90° to the TV, which made it even more uncomfortable. Ok for a few nights, not great for a few weeks. We tried to turn it around but because of the futon, it really needed to be against the wall. It wasn't particularly comfortable to sit on, or lay on.

The location was a little bit out of the way and in a highly congested area at peak times.

Exceptional and well worth it
Pros:

The ladies could not have done any more to ensure we were comfortable and happy from arranging transport from and to the airport, to the meet and greet on arrival at the unit.

They truly are amazing ladies who go out or their way to assist with anything.

Cons:

Slight water leak from shower but it has been reported and will soon be sorted.
