Johari Beach Resort, Kizimkazi Zanzibar

Johari Beach is a fantastic spot in Kizimkazi. It’s a beautiful luxury boutique hotel with exceptionally friendly and genuinely welcoming staff.

Breakfast was excellent—especially the variety of homemade juices and smoothies. The hibiscus juice is a must-try!

The beachfront is very clean and equipped with comfortable sunbeds, making it a perfect place to relax. Thanks to the hotel’s small size, it feels very private and peaceful.

We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, which was fully furnished and offered a lovely view. It was spotless, and the morning and evening room service added an extra touch of care and comfort.

Overall, it was a 10/10 stay, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Fantastisk fine og romslige villa, perfekt for familieferie. Imøtekommende og hyggelig personale som er behjelpelige med enn hva det måtte være. Et opphold her kan virkelig anbefales!

Sehr schönes, modernes Hotel mit sehr großem Apartment, bequem mit dem Aufzug erreichbar. Der Küchenbereich war großzügig, das Bad jedoch etwas klein.
Sehr bequeme Betten. Tägliche Zimmerreinigung.
Der Swimmingpool ist schön, allerdings ohne Dusche und mit etwas wenig Schatten. Am Strand gibt es viele Liegen und Sonnenschirme, über eine Holztreppe gelangt man direkt ins Meer.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Essen gut und der Koch hat auch gerne individuelle Wünsche erfüllt. Es werden keine alkoholischen Getränke angeboten.

Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.

We had an amazing stay at Johari! The villas were beautiful, spacious, clean and beautifully designed. The private pool was the cherry on top. Arjun and his staff made sure we lacked for nothing. They went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Cant wait to go back again and I would highly recommend!

Lovely neat,comfortable boutique resort,....beautiful setting on a Lovely quiet serene part of Zanzibar,,,,we're taken great care by manager Mr Arjun....enjoyed his company and interaction.........pampered by Chef Ali with his delicious servings......great service by Mr Roman &restaurant staff........great escape from the heavy bustle of the more tourists areas....did a turtle swim at the secret caves...absolutely stunning &quiet...highly recommended....

Everything was incredible-the facilities, the beach, the people! Big shout to Arjun and Chef Ali! Made your trip unforgettable!

Truly a beautiful resort! Rooms are gorgeous. Arjun -General Manager was a great host. Most beautiful, pristine swimming beach.

Absolutely stunning resort with a sleek, eco-friendly design tucked away on the southwest coast of Zanzibar. Picture ten oceanfront villas, each with its own private pool, plus a handful of dreamy suites with uninterrupted sea views… pure paradise!
The vibe is all about peace, privacy, and pure relaxation. The staff couldn’t be kinder or more attentive, and Arjun, the hotel manager, deserves a special mention, he personally makes sure every guest feels at home.
The food was a real highlight: fresh, flavorful, and inspired by the best local ingredients. The chef not only cooks incredibly well but is also happy to tweak the menu to your taste.
Our suite was spacious, stylish, and super comfortable, every detail was perfectly curated. The resort also has two infinity pools, a private beach area with comfy loungers and umbrellas, and even two hanging hammocks where you can float above the ocean and watch the sunset… magic! There’s also direct access to the sea when the tide allows, great Wi-Fi, a small gym, and a relaxing massage service.
Outside the property there’s not much around, apart from the Turtle Cave and Secret Garden nearby, but honestly, you won’t want to leave. When the tide goes out, you can take a peaceful walk along the beach all the way to Kizimkazi local fishing village

The property is stunning, newly built, beautifully designed, and it feels very luxurious. The team was incredibly attentive, always going out of their way to accommodate anything we needed. It’s tucked away in a peaceful part of the island, which was exactly what we wanted.

Excellent job! We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and nice. The place is beautiful and the people running it have made it even more beautiful. Thanks to Chef Ali for the awesome dishes. Thanks to Mr. Arjun as well who went an extra mile always to ensure our comfort and stay was enjoyable. Definitely going back!

Foods, accommodation very classic

Отель новый, ему всего три месяца.
Нас заселили быстро. Номер был с шикарным видом на море. Утром можно купаться в море, в 11-14 отлив, и после можно хорошо купаться. Мы плавали до пляжа, есть, где покупаться. Днем купались в бассейне (их два), места всем хватало. В общем, моря здесь достаточно, чтобы покупаться.

Мне понравилась атмосфера на отеле. Здесь настолько великолепно, что не хотелось никуда ехать. Я прям отсыпалась, наедалась, купалась. Я не хотела огромный отель, хотелось компактный, здесь это случилось.

Также была возможность сделать массаж прямо в номере. Очень хороший специалист, я получила расслабление.

В живую номер лучше, чем на фото. Уборка хорошая. Дважды в день. Было хорошей идеей взять номер с двумя спальнями. У каждой спальни свой санузел, что тоже было классно, не ждать очереди. В номере также была просторная гостиная с кухней (мы ей не пользовались). Кондиционеры были в каждой спальне и гостиной. Сам номер стильно декорирован. Как и сам отель.

Персонал вежливый, улыбчивый, хорошо все говорят на английском.

Так как это западная сторона, то здесь есть закаты, которые я люблю.

Wi-fi везде ловил достаточно хорошо.

Экскурсии. Недалеко есть Mtende Secret Beach, и пещера, где можно поплавать и покормить черепах.

Хочется отдельно отметить работу шеф-повара Ali. Мы ели такую вкусную и свежевыловленную рыбу, лобстеров, креветки! Даже рис и овощи был незабываемыми, безумно вкусно! Пишу и слюньки текут!

Также хочу поблагодарить Arjun за гостеприимство и организацию такого шикарного пространства!

Весь отель пронизан заботой, теплом и уютом.
