A truly amazing stay
Pros:

We loved everything about the place, the staffs were amazing. They made us feel so welcome. The resort is so beautiful, it definitely exceeded my expectations. The hospitality was top notch, it was the last place we stayed to rest after so many activities, and frankly it was worth it and more. Extremely responsive staff I must say. I would recommend 100%!

Home far away from home

Een werkelijk fantastisch verblijf gehad. Vanaf het eerste moment werden we ontzettend warm en professioneel ontvangen. Het personeel verdient echt een speciale vermelding: iedereen was vriendelijk, attent en behulpzaam, waardoor we ons enorm welkom en verzorgd voelden.
Met in het speciaal : Fatma, Youssra , Wenfrieda , Astelia , Arjun , Ali

Onze villa was prachtig en uitstekend onderhouden. Alles was brandschoon, comfortabel en tot in de details verzorgd. Je merkt dat er veel aandacht wordt besteed aan de kwaliteit en de beleving van de gasten.

Ook het eten was absoluut een hoogtepunt. Alles wat we hebben gegeten was heerlijk

Wat we fijn vonden, was de rust. Het enige geluid dat we daar letterlijk hoorden, waren de golven van de zee en de vogels. Geen drukte, geen lawaai, gewoon volledige rust. Precies wat je nodig hebt om écht te ontspannen en even helemaal tot jezelf te komen.

Kortom: een prachtige plek waar gastvrijheid, hygiëne, comfort, heerlijk eten en rust perfect samenkomen. Echt een aanrader als je op zoek bent naar een plek om volledig te ontspannen. 🌴🌊🤍 We hebben enorm genoten en zouden hier zonder twijfel opnieuw verblijven.

Sensationelle Anlage in ruhiger Umgebung in Kizimkazi
Pros:

Es war eines der schönsten Hotels, die wir je erlebt haben. Jedes Apartment hat traumhaften Meerblick und die Anlage war total ruhig und idyllisch. Man wird nicht rund um die Uhr mit Musik beschallt, sondern es steht eindeutig im Vordergrund, dass man sich total entspannen und relaxen kann. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich aufmerksam, bringt Essen und Getränke bis zur Strandliege und macht jeden Wunsch möglich. Wir durften beispielsweise noch vor der offiziellen Frühstückszeit ans Buffet, weil wir zeitig zu einem Ausflug aufbrechen mussten. Die gesamte Anlage ist hochmodern, extrem gepflegt und die Masai sind ebenfalls sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Alles in allem würde ich den Aufenthalt als außergewöhnlich bezeichnen. Die mit Abstand schönste Unterkunft in Kizimkazi. Von hier lassen sich auch 90% aller Ausflugsziele ansteuern. Ich würde empfehlen auf den zentralen Platz von Kizimkazi zu gehen und nach „Mr. Cool“ zu fragen. Er organisiert zuverlässig sämtliche Trips, die man machen möchte. Von seinen angebotenen Preisen kann man aber locker immer 50% abziehen, wenn nicht mehr. Das gilt aber für sämtliche Tourenanbieter auf Zanzibar. Von daher immer verhandeln, die Leute sind sehr freundlich und nicht aufdringlich.

Cons:

Das Einzig „negative“, ist aus unserer Sicht, dass die Preise für das Abendessen vor Ort sehr gehoben sind im Vergleich zu allen anderen Hotel-Restaurants. Das ist nicht gerechtfertigt, da der Essensbereich nicht so schön gelegen ist wie bei den angrenzenden Hotels und dort zahlt man die Hälfte. Wir haben jeden Abend auswärts in den angrenzenden Hotels gegessen, wie dem Marina-Hotel oder Aya Beach. Diese Hotels sind nicht so perfekt ausgestattet wie Johari Beach, aber das Abendessen, die Location und die Preise waren genial. Im Marina-Hotel hat man jeden Abend ein wechselndes Buffet und kann sich so viel nehmen wie man möchte für 20$, während der Lobster im Johari bereits über 30$ kostet.

Very tranquil and quiet, peace of mind. Enjoyed the private villa views and swimming pool n my own pool.
Pros:

Its a beautiful property and indeed a 5 star
very modern, with the private villas being the most attractive rooms.

Cons:

The restaurant is small and breakfast, all day dining has limited options. The beach is really away from hotel and there are fisherman with boats in the area. You have to wait for tide to be low and just walk on the beach with lots of sea algae

The food was basic, breakfast was the same everyday and not much to chose from, had one type of juice 3 days in a row
Menu very limited and we were travelling as a family of 6, within two days we had gone through everything as it’s the same for lunch and dinner

A perfect 10! Absolute Empfehlung!
Pros:

Wir haben das Johari und seine Mitarbeiter geliebt. Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen komplett übertroffen und hat ein unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Egal ob Manager Arjun, Küchenchef Ali oder der komplette Staff - alle haben sich wirklich so viel Mühe gegeben unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich zu machen. Vom Sunset-Dinner am Strand bis hin zu Extra-Wünschen aus der Küche haben wir einfach alles genossen. Obwohl der Standard absolut Luxus ist, ist das Personal anders als oft in anderen Luxushotels unfassbar nahbar und herzlich.

Cons:

Das ist wirklich Jammern auf hohem Niveau, aber als 2,02m großer Mensch waren die Betten etwas zu kurz. Aber da bin ich auch wirklich nicht der Standard...
