Lovely place to stay for a mini-break in Whitby. Friendly, accomodating staff.
Pros:

Great location, good walking distance/ close to all the main beaches, attractions, other restaurants, etc. Nice sea view from our room!

Cons:

There was no onsite parking, which was a bit of a pain with our luggage. But the hotel did provide us with a complimentary street permit pass for 2 days, which was located up the hill around from the hotel. So a bit of an inconvenience, but not too bad. Especially as the location of the hotel itself was well worth it.

The location was lovely with a small balcony over looking the harbour

Cons:

Breakfast wasn't included in the price as I thought it was a little expensive ,so I used another place which was half the price .

Cons:

Seagulls on the roof nesting me and my partner had the outside balcony somtimes the parents attack us but that's not the hotels fault

Overall the hotel is a good choice
Pros:

Rooms very spacious and well presented

Cons:

Lock on room 2 broke and dad and his partner couldn’t get out the room ) dads 80 and the guy downstairs said it does break if you slam it ( they never) it was fixed but the door locks are old Yale ones and the locking button was missing so we weren’t happy with that and his attitude to be honest the hotel is right in the mix so very central and overall was good

Cons:

Parking is away from the hotel, not great when you want to unload and reload luggage from the car.

Sea view room but was very stuffy, should have had been equipped with a fan as you could only open windows in the bathroom and the seagulls were super noisy!
Spacious bathroom but impractical.

Great place to stay - great location and great staff.
Pros:

Great location along the harbour. Sat back in the evenings and simply watched the world go by. Very easy to simply walk everywhere.

Cons:

Not actually being accommodated in the Marine Hotel was a bit disappointing. Had booked a balcony room but was accommodated three buildings down the road...nonetheless it was still beautiful with a very large room.

Very central. Amazing bath. Great views. Breakfast best ever had.

Cons:

That the windows in bedroom didn’t open. Hottest weekend of the year. Wouldn’t stop us returning.
