Location was great
Bathroom smell
Location location location. Breakfast and a wonderful staff.
Too many stairs but that’s expected of a historic property
Excellente adresse.
Convenient, brand new, comfortable room, quiet
Tudo perfeito!
Amamos tudo!
Very nice staff, rooms are very nice and clean. Location is excellent!! Would highly recommend!

Excellent staff Luis was great. Excellent location and excellent breakfast in the little bakery. Room spacious and spotlessly clean with great aircon and the bed was wonderful.
Only 2 things needed for the room a full length mirror (really need this) and was difficult to plug in hairdryer hard to access plug as under the sink.
Our 4th floor suite was unusually large, and newly constructed within a very old, smallish building. Spacious living room between the bedroom and bathroom was very modern and well designed. 3rd floor bar was tiny and very nicely maintained, with a large wine room. Location was very convenient to many restaurants and transportation. Breakfast next door was lavish, and wonderful for pastry lovers. 10 euros to the cruise terminal.
The 4th floor was kind of a mixed blessing. Steep roof lines were fine for shorter people like us, but could be difficult for anyone taller. Also, it was about 20 steps to get to the elevator, which only went to the 3rd floor, then another dozen or so steps to the 4th floor which could be problematic for older guests.
The hotel on the outside doesn't look much, but once inside you step into a wonderful historical building, which is meticulously redesigned with a lovely little winebar 1 floor up. Although in a very busy area, the room was quiet and cool. I realize it's a bit strange to mention but throughout this building there hangs a lovely, discreet smell. The bakery next door provides a sumptious breakfast with a smile. The area is full of restaurants, so you don't need to go far and you're halfway up to the Castelo de são Jorge. We loved every minute of our stay.
We didn't mind, but beware that there a some steps you simply can't avoid. This is part of the charm of the building but can be tricky for less abled guests. However, the manager Mr Silva very kindly helped us with bringing the bags to our room.
Uber has problems finding the hotel ( or don't want to go into this litle street..). It helps to go to the corner of Rua da Padaria and order them from there. ( I wish I had known that earlier ;)
The hotel was in a fabulous section of Lisbon that allowed walking to many cultural and historical sites. Staff was very friendly, informative and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty with eggs, granola, meat, cheese, croissants, coffee/tea and fruit.
We misplaced a bank card which staff discovered after we checked out. They immediately reached out to us to contact them. We asked that they hold on to the card until we returned to Lisbon a few days later. We retrieved the card, expressed our appreciation for their honesty and integrity and tipped the person who found the card.
