What a gem
Pros:

Gorgeous room, very clean and classy. Everything we needed and a fabulous location. So close to everything, yet at the quiet end of the street. The entry hall smelled divine.

Cons:

The doors on the coridoor are a bit loud when they shut, although this is the only thing we heard otherwise from our room.

Lovely, clean, comfortable room and a great location.
Pros:

Beautifully finished and spotlessly clean throughout, with an absolutely ideal location for the Lace Market, other city attractions and the Motorpoint Arena. The bed was comfortable, all facilities thoughtfully worked out. The Hungry Pumpkin cafe, just a few steps from the entrance, was a perfect breakfast venue.

Cons:

The heating system had a mind of its own and the temperature was not adjustable from the control pad provided in the room, despite it appearing so. When we arrived the room was cold (17 degrees) and the AC fan/heater unit was blowing cold air. We contacted the host for help and he monitored it remotely, then when we returned from our evening out all was well. I think the heating had set times when it would warm up, but at other times it only blew cold air, which was annoying. It’s surely reasonable to expect a constant, comfortable temperature.

Great location, high quality accommodation
Pros:

Great location away from the main hub but everything close by. High quality finish in the room, great design.

Cons:

On our stay, other inconsiderate guests coming and going without consideration for others. Fire doors at top of stairs would benefit from door closers adjusting to remove the ‘bang’ at every closure. Can be completed within minutes.

NOT a hotel just a room.
Pros:

The location and look of the "hotel", I use the term hotel very lightly.

Cons:

Firstly, this was described as a hotel, which it is not — it is just a room. The blinds were filthy and let in a significant amount of light, making it difficult to sleep, and they also allowed a ridiculous amount of cold air into the room.
The kettle and coffee machine both contained old water, and the tea, coffee, milk, and water were not replenished. Additionally, the room was not serviced or made up for our second night’s stay.

Too bright, too noisy, communication poor
Pros:

Room was beautiful and bathroom had lovely fittings. Hot water great, bed comfortable, nice tv, was all very clean.

Cons:

PIN code was same for front door and room - made me wonder if others knew my code or if it was changed day to day. As a solo female traveller I wondered if previous occupants could therefore get into my room. Main issue however was that the room was far too bright to sleep (and this is in January - it needs curtains. I slept really badly. It was also noisy due to the cobblestones outside (which are beautiful) - appreciate can't do much about this but again curtains or better insulation would have helped. Heating/cooling was hard to work - it was freezing when I got there and then too hot overnight! No personal communication at all about stay - I even had to scroll through the pdf contract attached to one of the emails to find the checkout time.

Overpriced and wont be going back
Pros:

The location was good.

Cons:

It is inconceivable that a place called a hotel, has no staff, reception, conceirge, anyone to assist or to speak to in case of any issue, not to mention the lack of any hospitality, I had left some imprortant medication in the fridge, i went back 15 minutes past check out time to collect it, and there was no way to get back into the room to collect it, its a classic case of profit at the expense of service, or quality, not for me!
