The room is so nice, the toilet is superb, clean & modern. The room smells good & refreshing. The breakfast so delicious.
1. Check-In (5-Star Experience)
The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and handled everything promptly without long waiting times. The hotel also features a face recognition system for room check-in, adding a modern and convenient touch to the arrival experience.
Guests are also welcomed with a complimentary welcome drink upon arrival, which adds a nice and refreshing touch to the overall check-in experience.
The lobby is very spacious, pleasantly scented, and offers plenty of seating areas for guests to relax while waiting to check in creating a welcoming first impression.
2. Room (5-Star Experience)
The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained. As this is a relatively new hotel, everything felt fresh, modern, and in excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable, and the amenities provided met expectations. The overall ambiance was relaxing and ideal for rest.
3. Toilet (5-Star Experience)
The bathroom was clean and well-kept. Water pressure was good, and hot water was consistently available. A nice modern touch was the Bluetooth-enabled sound system, allowing you to play music while in the bathroom. The toilet was also fully automated, adding extra comfort and a premium feel to the overall experience.
4. Parking (5-Star Experience)
Parking facilities were convenient and easily accessible. There was sufficient space, and the area felt safe for leaving vehicles. Valet parking was also available at a reasonable rate of RM30 per day, which added extra convenience.
5. Room Service (5-Star Experience)
Room service was prompt and reliable. Food arrived on time, well-presented, and the staff were polite and attentive.
6. Breakfast (3-Star Experience)
In my experience compared to other 4-5-star hotels, the breakfast selection here was somewhat limited. In addition, the arrangement of the food and tableware could be improved to create a more organized and pleasant dining experience.
While a wide variety is not necessarily required, the hotel could take inspiration from other 5-star establishments to further enhance the overall breakfast presentation and quality.
A few practical improvements could also enhance the overall experience. For example, fresh fruits stored in the chiller should not be placed on overly high stands, as this may cause plates to fall when guests are serving themselves. Cereals such as KoKo Crunch could be placed in cylinder style dispensers for easier and more hygienic self service. In addition, it would be good to offer a wider variety of salads to enhance the breakfast selection and provide a healthier and more balanced dining option for guests.
For condiments like chili sauce, it would be more convenient to provide them in small individual containers rather than sealed packets that require opening, similar to fast-food restaurants. Hot beverages such as teh tarik or hot water for tea should also be readily available, as they are well aligned with local Malaysian preferences.
It would also be a great opportunity to include more local Ipoh dishes to showcase and introduce the city’s unique food culture to guests.
Lastly, proper labeling of all food items is important, as some dishes were not clearly labeled, which may cause confusion for guests.
