We stayed in 2 rooms at this hotel and were expecting a 5-star standard. However, we were extremely disappointed.
1. Poor shower heating system - The hot water only lasted a couple of minutes! You need to take a quick shower otherwise the hot water would turn cold. We asked the hotel staff to look into this issue, but she said that nothing she could do and advised us to wait 15 minutes after each shower to allow the water to heat up!
2. Cleaning of bedroom – During check-in, the condition of one of the bedrooms was found unacceptable. The bed linen had not been changed; dirt was found on the duvet and bed sheets. Garbage was left on the floor! Dust on the windowsill.
3. Bathroom facilities – There was no hand soap or liquid hand soap provided. There was no small size tower provided. There was no bathrobe! In one of the bedrooms, a box of paper tissue was provided instead of soft tissue!
4. Poor drainage – The washbasin was clogged. We asked the maintenance person to fix it but he failed. The next morning, we requested the hotel staff to address the issue, but nothing has been done.
5. Poor quality breakfast – The first morning, it was a buffet breakfast. The quality of the food was poor with the exception of the pancake. The fruit was not fresh, some tangerines were rotten as big black spots could be seen. The next morning, there were à la carte options. The quality of the food was better as it was freshly cooked. However, the same lot of rotten tangerines was still there!
6. Poor air conditioner maintenance – Excessive condensation caused water dripping from the aircon vent onto the desk. We requested a hotel maintenance staff to come to fix it, he came and just adjusted the aircon temperature up to 25°C. We requested him to wipe out the water droplets from the vent, but he refused. After repeated requests and complaints, he finally wiped out the water droplets.
The party who gave this hotel a 5-star rating should review their rating standard!

- on our last day, buffet breakfast not available and only ala carte order but we’re only allow to order 1 item per menu option from main course, dessert & add on
- face scanning feels like unnecessary
