MOA staycation located in Shore1 and 2 Residences Pasay City

When we arrived at Shore 1 Tower C1, the receptionist we spoke to was useless. Why? Booking.com and our contact had already provided complete information, yet she suddenly said that the authorization sent to my email by our contact or Booking.com was not listed in their records. That sounds ridiculous if the receptionist says the authorization wasn’t approved, it makes it look like Booking.com is scamming us.

Because of that issue, we couldn’t check in ahead of time. The receptionist insisted the authorization wasn’t approved. My wife and I were already exhausted from work, and this just made things worse. To make matters worse, we couldn’t even contact Booking.com or our contact person through email because Shore 1 Tower C1 had no internet. There should at least be internet on the ground floor.

We eventually got in, but late. Thankfully, the male receptionist let us in he was smart and helpful. But the female receptionist was useless; she even told us to contact our contact person ourselves instead of going the extra mile to reach out for us. Shore 1 Tower C1 should improve this don’t give guests headaches when checking in, it’s frustrating.

Then, when we finally entered the room, our contact person seemed annoyed in their messages probably tired and irritated. I was only asking about the air conditioner because it wasn’t working. I didn’t care if they had to resend instructions with pictures; they should have just sent them again. They didn’t realize we weren’t allowed in right away by the female receptionist, so we were already upset.

On top of that, the aircon remote was broken, there was no Netflix (which was supposed to be included), and the bathroom amenities that were part of the package were missing.

There were a lot of cockroaches everywhere. It takes a while to go to the units because elevators are always packed

A very disgusting room with lots of cockroaches and they were not organised I needed to wait for hours to check in cause the owner of the property was in the UK and she didn't prepare all the requirements for checking in, I booked 2 rooms for my family and for my grandmother and she put the other room at the other building, it should be in the same building.

Its the room that has very poor service

The unit I received was different from the photos shown in the listing. There were a few cleanliness and maintenance issues upon arrival, including a broken faucet, a dirty shower curtain, towels that did not seem clean, and washed linens hanging inside the wardrobe. Additionally, food from the previous renter had not been removed from the fridge. The place also had poor internet connection that we just mostly used our mobile data. While I am generally not a fussy guest, the issues encountered fall below acceptable standard and affected my overall experience. On the positive side, the owner was very attentive and responsive, and easy to contact by phone.

The appartment has a lot of cockroach and the hotwater is NOT working.

Hidden fee for the swimming pool (it is not included to the price)

Irresponsible owner/host

Ahead of time kami nag book para less hassle sa part namin monday palang kausap na namin yung host / owner , morning ng dec 31 i mmessage ka na sira yung unit walang kuryente , ikaw pa ttanungin kung may kakilala ka na electrician 😂 , ni mag compensate sa kapabayaan wala , sasabihin lang full refund , dapat naman talaga full refund yan , stress aabutin nyo dito

Nous avions réservé 3 studios mais 2h avant de partir on nous a dit qu'il n'y en avait que 2 mais que nous pouvions dormir à 5 par studio sans problème. Nous avons donc accepté de se serrer un peu pour la nuit.
Le problème c'est que le règlement de la résidence n'autorise que 4 personnes par studio maximum donc ils ne voulaient pas tous nous laisser entrer. Après de longues explications, nous avons finalement pu tous monter dans les studios mais à 1h du matin seulement.
Il nous avaient été dit que des petits matelas seraient fournis pour nous permettre de tous dormir confortablement mais dans le deuxième studio aucun matelas n'étaient présent. Deux personnes ont du dormir à même le sol.

A sudden cancellation for the price I booked. I am disappointed since he/she offered the same location but to a higher price.

Difficult to swing

To be fair, this booking is relatively cheaper compared to other units within the same area. But I didn’t expect it to not have the basic necessities like handsoap & toilet paper.

I could go on and on on what didn’t go well during our stay but to simplify:
1. If you are looking for just a place to crash after attending an event near MOA area, this is good value for money. This could be for you.

2. If you are a tourist looking for a homebase in Manila area and you are not on a tight budget, I would NOT recommend this for you. There are much better accommodations in other Shore Residences.

Tip: Avoid Shore Residences 1 (especially tower C1). Based on my experience having stayed at Shore Residences 2 & 3, this building is the most unpleasant and inconvenient. Not a lot of shops by the entrance and worst of all, no cell reception by the lobby.
