Rooms had no ceiling fans or air conditioning also the downstairs room facing the river had a public towpath within metres of the window … I felt insecure when leaving the windows open that anyone could have entered the room … additionally the windows weren’t fitted with fly screens … consequently in hot weather it was inadequate . I also didn’t like the dual ownership concept … paying for the hotel which I thought included breakfast and then finding that a separate company owned the catering service which required additional payments

No hot water in the room, not informed until I found out myself. No knowledge of when it would be fixed by staff, I found a hidden note in room mentioning it from 5 days previous. Breakfast very poor for price.

Our room was on the bottom floor. The only ventilation were double doors which opened up onto the car park and visible from the main road.
