Llena de mosquitos, con rollos de papel escasos, un gel de ducha acabado, una piscina sucia (tanto el día que entramos como a la salida, no pude bañarme). Y bueno…se nota que no es una villa precisamente para pasar una noche en familia.

They don't have breakfast, and the closest Caffè is the other side of the river. No coffee shop or mini market nearby.
We had a double bed, and I was with my daughter. The blanket was not big enough when we asked for a second blanket they wanted to charge us an extra 10 USD!!!
The front desk is not helpful with tourist info.

Grounds need a bit of a tidy up. Tiles around the pool very slippery. Only 1 staff spoke good enough English.

Nothing and this wasn’t a problem at all for us but the location is just a very short & cheap Tuktuk ride to where all the restaurants are.

Hardly any hot water. Not enough for one short shower. Reported it and a technician came to turn up the temperature but it didn’t make any difference.
The lounge is far too small and falling apart. There needs to be a coffee table and proper seating.
Fridge started defrosting each day in the afternoon. Hard to regulate.
Phone didn’t work.

Just slightly out the way of the main bit and roads around not the best Lit etc ..

- A bit far from the centre of town (about 15 min walk across a busy scooter bridge) and not much around. We were only there 2 nights and just used grab to go into the centre which was fine.
- The hot water didn’t last very long when showering.
- The smart locking system on the doors didn’t work very well and we actually came back one day after the cleaners had been in to the room being unlocked.

Despite these, we loved our stay and would return!

Not in the best area, but you know this beforehand.

We found a pair of ladies pants behind the bath…..

Lots of flies in the room, assuming the cleaners leave the doors wide open when servicing the rooms which allows the flies in.

I had messaged ahead asking if anything could be done for my partner’s birthday which was during our stay, and the villa created a really lovely bed decoration with towels and roses which we genuinely appreciated. The only downside was that there was an additional charge for it which wasn’t mentioned when I originally enquired, so it came as a surprise afterwards, as I went to give the staff member a tip for this later on in the day, only then did I find out the cost. I did say in the original message I was happy to pay, but for them not to mention the charge in their reply, and only when I went to give them a tip for it, was disappointing. Aside from that, it was a thoughtful gesture and made the stay feel special.

The pool entry times were broken by other guests, including at night and in the morning. I was awoken at 05:30am on our last day by kids screaming outside, which was disappointing. Really, for how nice and peaceful the villa is, it would benefit being an adult only villa.

The door locks are confusing. A member of staff came over to show us again how to work these, as you are shown when you check in. After she locked it, when we returned, I said to my partner to try and open it before scanning the card as I was confident it wasn’t even locked, and sure enough it opened after the staff member claimed it was locked. Please be careful with this as it seems the staff can’t get their heads round it either.
