Hotel Esencia Holbox

La ducha tenía malas las llaves, no cerraba 100% y costaba que saliera el agua como uno quería de temperatura. Constantemente se les tapaba el desagüe y había alguien arreglando abajo al lado de la piscina este problema todos los días.
Buen Roof Top pero abandonado, sin instalaciones.

Water on the bedroom floor upon arrival, sand everywhere (piles of sand), stains on towels and sheets, mold due to humidity and lack of maintenance in the bathroom, empty hand gel and shampoo bottles, hair everywhere in the shower and around the sink, with a used razor left in the shower.
Terrace without chairs, plastic pool loungers (and broken) instead of wooden ones as shown in the hotel photos.
The television does not work.
No sound insulation at all (very loud noise from scooters passing below the room and from neighbors walking through the corridors).
The air conditioning blows directly onto our faces when we are in bed.
An additional “island cleaning” tax of 35 pesos per person per night was requested on top of the price at check-in.

Ti applicano una tassa Extra inventata da loro(tassa sull’ambiente 🤣) oltre alle tasse dovute già pagate in precedenza, camera sporca acqua della doccia fredda e lenta scende a gocce, animali ovunque .

It‘s not in the Center which is usually fine as one can quickly walk there. However if it has rained, all streets in Holbox are flooded and it’s a bit difficult to get to the hotel.

-They should really let people know about the aditional fee per person per night before you make a final reservation!!!! You have to also pay it in cash. Write it in subscription, that really made me angry! Rip off
-AC stopped working when we arrived and in the evening there is noone to take a look on it

Over Priced and Poor Serivce, the Price for the commodity i paid with Visa card in Booking.com is Not the final one - you have to pay in the Hotel extra ecology tax in CASH - 34 pesos a Person per night (2x2x34 = 136 pesos in our case). No hot boiling water and No kitchen utilities and kitchen use in general possible ... Pool was Out of service when the first day we arrived and was cleaned with chemicals the next day

La deficiencia de servicios

Es una pena que no tenga un cartel para indicar el nombre del Hostel Tiene una terraza y un salón ambos sin aprovechar como bar cantina desayuno bebidas etc

Ahorita no estaba funcionando la piscina pero la verdad no es importante estando en una isla

A bit far from the city center, dirty swimming pool.
