Clean property and well-maintained public areas
Rooftop with good views/attractive rooftop cafe-bar
Cons:
Poor Wi‑Fi and some management/checkout issues (missing bill)

Missing in-room amenities (no bathrobes, no in-room tea) and drafty bathroom windows

Categories

Cleanliness
1
Multiple reviews explicitly call the hotel very clean or sauber; housekeeping and general cleanliness are praised.
Service
1
Staff repeatedly described as extremely friendly and helpful (Pablo noted); some management failings (checkout bill, handling of issues) temper the score.
Location
1
Consistently praised as perfect, central, walking distance to nightlife and sights—a clear strength of the property.
Room Quality
1
Rooms are frequently described as spacious, stylish and well designed, but some complaints about beds, drafty bathroom windows, noise from boulevard-facing rooms and cold stone floors reduce the score.
Amenities
1
Repeated negatives: non-working Wi‑Fi, lack of basic in-room items (robes, in-room tea), limited/poorly served breakfast setup and weak electricity for personal appliances.
Value for Money
1
At least one guest called the experience deeply disappointing for the price; missing amenities, management lapses and functional failures drive a negative value perception.
Food and Beverage
1
Breakfast criticized as minimal and served in a cold rooftop setting; rooftop cafe/bar is a plus but overall F&B (especially breakfast) is a weak point.
Overall Experience
1
Many guests say the hotel exceeded expectations and would stay again thanks to location, design and friendly staff, but substantial functional issues (noise, Wi‑Fi, shower pressure, management) keep the overall impression only slightly positive.

Beautiful hotel in Rome Norte, not quite 5-star with a few key drawbacks
Pros:

The location is great in Roma Norte. Rooms are stylish and well-designed. Staff is extremely accommodating. Rooftop offers wonderful views of the city.

Cons:

Our shower lacked water pressure and was on the main floor meaning loud guests returning in the evening could be loudly heard from the room. Yes there are earplugs but at a “5 star” hotel this is unacceptable.

A perfect location with huge terrace rooms opening onto a garden!
Pros:

Great central location in one of the most charming areas of Mexico City

Cons:

A bit noisy due to the restaurant kitchen being adjacent to the guest rooms.

Very Disapointing at this price point
Pros:

Stylish rooms, comfortable beds, and great roof views.

Cons:

Deeply disappointing experience.

Non-existent sound insulation meant being woken at 4:30 AM by footsteps above—providing earplugs is an admission of structural failure, not a fix.

The Wi-Fi never worked despite three reports, and basic 5-star amenities like bathrobes or in-room tea were missing.

Management fell short, even failing to provide a bill at checkout. Beautiful building, but failed on all functional levels for this price point.

We loved the helpful staff, spacious rooms and location location location..
Pros:

The location was perfect - close to nightlife if you’re searching for it, walking distance or convenient drive to the center and other sights.
The hotel is modern with spacious rooms. It might get cold during colder evenings / nights.
We also liked rooftop duri by sunny days, though it was too cold to have breakfast at nights.

Cons:

The water pressure in the shower was so weak that it was almost impossible to properly shower.
The electricity was also weak - impossible to use your own hairdryers if you bring one.

I would stay here again because the rooms are so nice, but they need a Management Consultant to come in and show them ho
Pros:

The rooms are beautiful. The architecture and design features are lovely, and the bedding, furniture, and fixtures make the stay very pleasant. The rooms at the back (ending in 01 to 04) are quieter. The rooms on the boulevard ( ending in 05 to 08) have a balcony and a view, but are noisier. Pablo is the roving concierge and a joy to talk to.

Cons:

The breakfast is lame. It’s served on the freezing cold rooftop terrace (low 40’s during our stay in February), and you get exactly one espresso drink, one pastry, and one bowl of oatmeal. Anything more costs you. We didn’t eat there, but the attached restaurant on the ground floor is always packed in the evening. Why not serve a buffet breakfast there? Also no robes which also seems like a penny pinching miss by the management. They also need to replace the bathroom windows on the outer units (rooms ending in 01, 04, 05, and 08) as they are drafty - just a piece of swiveling wood without a seal, and the wood is coated with creosote so the bathroom smells like a rail yard.

This is a fantastic boutique hotel that surpassed our expectations. Well done.
Pros:

Location perfect, very large rooms, luxurious space, excellent staff, design & boutique hotel layout, rooftop cafe/bar

Cons:

Shower pressure low. Hard stone floor & bench surfaces made room feel cold (not for bare feet in February).
