Da gab es nichts
The hotel and its entire team provide a very chilled, welcoming and peaceful vibe supported by professional hospitality and desire for you to have a great experience. The rooms are very spacious and clean and the hotel is located on a great location in New York City.
I had the best time at the hotel! Rooms were spectacular and clean and I loved the bathroom with the standalone shower and big tub. The was long and big and incredible room size was huge and the rooftop restaurant was so much fun and amazing! I will 100% stay again. The front desk staff too is so accommodating Professional and helpful.
The staff were all great location is great walking distance from lots of key attractions and easy access to subways to go that bit further.
That there was no mugs or kettle in the room an espresso machine is not what folk want they want tea and coffee selections to choose from first thing upon waking not have to leave the room for morning coffee. The air con was very old and noisy new updated individual room air con units would fix that and are much quieter.
Location and roof top.
Only espresso coffee in room. Everything g else chargeable.
The location and room were great. There is also a small but well equipped gym.
Above all, the staff were amazing, really one of the highlights of my trip.
Loved the view of park Ave from my room. Rooftop restaurant is super cozy at night with dim lighting and great food. There’s always an amazing view of the Empire State Building from the rooftop bar
Awesome location. Only a few blocks away from herald square, Macys and grand central station. If you walk up to 3rd Ave there is endless options for food. Hotel rooms are beautiful. Bathrooms have deep tubs, perfect for bubble baths.
I meant to post this review sooner, but the holidays got busy and I’m just getting around to it now. We stayed at the Royalton Park Avenue during the holiday season, and even weeks later the experience still stands out in the best way.
The hotel itself is beautiful—festive without being over-the-top, cozy yet upscale. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and felt like a perfect escape from the holiday chaos of the city. Everything from the atmosphere to the service made our stay feel special.
What really stuck with me, though, was the kindness of the staff. One moment in particular summed it all up: a very kind, bald gentleman working at the hotel took the time to give my granddaughter a candy cane. It was such a small gesture, but it absolutely made her day—and ours. That kind of genuine warmth isn’t something you forget.
Overall, the Royalton Park Avenue made our holiday stay feel welcoming and memorable. Even posting this late, I can confidently say we’d stay here again and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting NYC, especially during the holidays.
I had a fantastic stay at Royalton Park Avenue. From the moment I arrived, the front desk team was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. Check-in was smooth, and they went out of their way to make sure everything was set up perfectly for my stay.
The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with a very comfortable bed. The location is unbeatable — close to everything, yet still felt like a calm retreat from the city. Every interaction with the staff felt genuine and welcoming, which really made the difference.
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting NYC.
The Royalton Park Avenue Hotel was very nice. The people were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were set. We enjoy the roof top bar and the coffee in the morning. Our room was clean and fit our needs perfectly.
We visited NYC during a cold snap with temps well below freezing. We stayed in a Park Avenue Suite - Room 1415 - which was a mistake. The room is pretty, clean and large but the bedroom and bathroom floors were freezing! Anything on the floor was also chilled. We set the room temp at 75 but the heaters could not match the cold outside. After the first night, I asked if they fix it and nothing was done. They did not explain why the floor was so cold either. I believe the room does not have a room below it. As a result, the floor would not stay heated when NYC is cold. They should have some form of radiant heat in the floor - especially in the bathroom which had extremely cold tiles at night! The staff was friendly and the breakfast upstairs was good. I will not go back but, if you avoid the Park Avenue Suite it might be ok.
Amazing value for the price - 5-10 minute walk to Empire State Building! Spacious rooms with a kitchenette. Spacious bathroom. Clean and tidy. No fancy lobby or anything like that but front desk and other staff were very personable and helpful. Again, not fancy but very enjoyable small rooftop bar and restaurant. Also a rooftop pool. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
great room . first class customer service especially Alexis was wonderful person . location was great close to everything's we need it
Excellent location, great service. Did everything they could to make my stay memorable. Close to subways, coffee shops etc. Rooftop bar was great and able to see Empire State
The Royalton Park Avenue is now my go-to stay location in the City. For me, location is pretty important. Most of the time I walk, whether it's 5 or 40 blocks (Retired folks do that). However, it's 1/2 block away from the 28th street underground station if walking isn't on my plate. It's also surrounded by some great restaurants, although you can say that about every property in the City. Most importantly, though, is staff. They make you feel at home, whether it's remembering you from a previous stay to finding you a good spot to eat or running to get you a new box of tissues for your room.
Location is excellent. One block from subway station and Whole Foods. Walkable to 5th Avenue, many restaurants, and stores. Room was nice.
Room service was dysfunctional. My room phone never directly connects to in-room dining. QR code lead me to online menu but breakfast menu was not there. One evening, front desk connected me to in-room dining dept. The person took my breakfast order. Next morning I called again and was told there was no such order received!
