Small cozy studio on a great street
Pros:

The apartment #301 is part of a 4 apartments building above business on The Plateau. Its very well located to explore Montreal and there is a lot of restaurants, shops, coffee shop around. The apartment is clean, well equipped , well decorated and cozy . Bedding and towels are very clean . Shower is good ( pressure and hot water) . We had everything we need as a couple for a 1 week stay. Will recommend this place to friends if fire safety is improved .

Cons:

The bed is a little firm. Would have slept better on a softer mattress.
The street was very very noisy due to snow cleaning but its not the property fault.
There is no smoke detector, fire alarm neither fire extinguisher in the building which made us feel unsafe. I strongly suggest the admin of the building to update the safety.
Also the hallways and entrance could definitely take a deep cleaning and repainting.

Brauchbares Appartement, ähnelt einer gut ausgestatteten Studentenwohnung, etwas abgnutzt.
Pros:

Gute Lage, zwar 600m bis zur U-Bahn, aber lebhafte Straße. Wenig Verkehr, etwas Barbesucher am Wochenende.
Brauchbare Schallisolierung.

Cons:

Wennim Haus jemand dss Schleuderprogramm seiner Waschmaschine benutzt, vibriert das gesamte Haus ( Erdbenstärke 2 - 3 )

Pros:

La suite occupée est lumineuse et donne directement sur l'avenue du Mont Royal (piétonne l'été). On entend aucun bruit de la rue grâce à une excellente isolation phonique des fenêtres. L'appartement a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un agréable séjour (il y a même de la lessive à disposition pour le lave linge !). Le quartier est très animé avec beaucoup de bars et de restaurants. On trouve également des épiceries et des dépanneurs à proximité. Le métro est à moins de 10 minutes à pieds. L'hôte est par ailleurs super disponible et réactif.

Cons:

L'escalier de la rue au 1er etage est horrible notamment avec des valises (cette location est à déconseillé à des personnes âgés ou avec des difficultés à se déplacer). La salle de bain aurait besoin d'un vrai rafraîchissement (carrelage fendu, meuble lavabo très abîmé, murs dégradés).

Pros:

Clean, excellent location, secure, air conditioned, full kitchen, washer/dryer. There was plenty of water pressure for the shower, which i really like. The host was responsive and helpful.

Cons:

I needed to extend my stay an extra day, and my request was satisfied, but the cost per day nearly doubled to almost $600 with taxes. I agreed, I didn't have much choice, but I felt that this was exorbitant. The place is probably worth $350 /day in the high season. I'd stay here again if I got a better deal; I will be shopping for one.

I recommend this place for a few days in Montreal if you want to be in the Plateau area.
Pros:

Very clean, modern, great location near restaurants and on a lively street, ten min walk to metro. Nice shared balcony on which to read. Quiet considering the location. Bathtub, laundry, and full kitchen.

Cons:

Wifi was weak/inconsistent
Fold out bed not very comfortable.

Comfort and nice location
Pros:

Location was great. The apartment was really clean! The cleanest I have ever seen in Montreal (and I visited many).
Nice patio and comfort environment.

Cons:

Stairs are narrow and steep (like many old buildings in Montreal).
The patio was nice, but there is no cover from bird poop.
