Liked it was local to the docks and the concert arena.
Parking not explained properly until you got to the location and had to call the hotel. I also felt there was never enough people in reception, they always looked like you were asking them to do things outside their job and where always quick to remind you that you cannot check in till 3.
Cheap and good location
Carpet was stained with something unpleasant, air conditioning until looked very old and bulky
Room was spacious and food served to room was good.
The mini fridge stank and was mouldy, we couldn’t use it. There was also missing tea, coffee.
just not enough lighting
Good location, friendly team. We were upgraded to a room with a nice view over the Liver Building. A fair price for b&b in a city location.
If you’re looking for lots of character and a boutique experience then you would be best to look elsewhere, but if it’s just a good base in a good location then this is perfect.
There is parking just round the corner charged at £14 per night.
Asked to leave luggage as room wasn’t ready. There is a £5 charge to do this. To be fair they waived the fee when we said that we had never been charged at a hotel before.
The rooms are not cleaned everyday. I believe you can request a clean. One of the nice things about staying in a hotel is when you come back after a day out, the bed has been made and courtesy tray restocked.
It’s just a small thing, but part of the overall guest experience.
I wasn’t a fan of washing cups in the bathroom sink to reuse them.
Location across from the liver building
Ideally located & comfortable.
Good VFM
My 4th stay in this hotel. It’s a Great location, staff are friendly
Ordered breakfast to room, the missed a few items requested, bath slightly dirty but only slightly and only stayed one night so wasn’t a major thing
Nothing, it was old and tired
It was old, tired, no locks on doors, zero insulation between rooms, I could hear EVERYTHING, bed was rock hard, shower took 3-5mins to find hot water, paint was chipping off.
Location
Lifts wait forever, rooms dated, bar poor.
It was very cheap
Very run down and bed extremely uncomfortable. Couldn't open a window so very stuffy. Room in bad need of pain. Very dark.
The location was perfect & having parking facilities made it the ideal option for our needs.
We were given a free upgraded room, the views were great, the bed was large & extremely comfortable
The staff member doing the breakfast was very helpful & friendly, she ensured that we had what we wanted
Room did smell a wee bit like smelly feet
