Location = Price = Quantity
Pros:

Liked it was local to the docks and the concert arena.

Cons:

Parking not explained properly until you got to the location and had to call the hotel. I also felt there was never enough people in reception, they always looked like you were asking them to do things outside their job and where always quick to remind you that you cannot check in till 3.

Not great value for money, at this price would expect better standards
Pros:

Room was spacious and food served to room was good.

Cons:

The mini fridge stank and was mouldy, we couldn’t use it. There was also missing tea, coffee.

Great location and good value.
Pros:

Good location, friendly team. We were upgraded to a room with a nice view over the Liver Building. A fair price for b&b in a city location.
If you’re looking for lots of character and a boutique experience then you would be best to look elsewhere, but if it’s just a good base in a good location then this is perfect.
There is parking just round the corner charged at £14 per night.

Cons:

Asked to leave luggage as room wasn’t ready. There is a £5 charge to do this. To be fair they waived the fee when we said that we had never been charged at a hotel before.
The rooms are not cleaned everyday. I believe you can request a clean. One of the nice things about staying in a hotel is when you come back after a day out, the bed has been made and courtesy tray restocked.
It’s just a small thing, but part of the overall guest experience.
I wasn’t a fan of washing cups in the bathroom sink to reuse them.

I won’t stay there again. The lack of room insulation from noise and hard beds made it awful
Pros:

Nothing, it was old and tired

Cons:

It was old, tired, no locks on doors, zero insulation between rooms, I could hear EVERYTHING, bed was rock hard, shower took 3-5mins to find hot water, paint was chipping off.
