Great access to the city centre and very helpful staff.

Our stay at The Townhouse Hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The hotel perfectly combines classic charm with modern comfort. The rooms were beautifully maintained, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a busy day exploring Manchester. The location is ideal — central enough to walk everywhere, yet peaceful enough for a great night’s sleep.
What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the service — especially at breakfast. Florinda, who looked after us each morning, was simply outstanding. She greeted us with such warmth and genuine kindness that it set a positive tone for the entire day. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and friendly conversation made breakfast feel personal rather than routine. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and her lovely energy did not go unnoticed.
It’s rare to find service that feels so sincere and heartfelt, and Florinda is a real credit to the hotel. We left feeling not just well-rested, but genuinely cared for.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Manchester!

I've stayed a couple of times and I've always had a lovely stay. The staff are always excellent, especially Florinda on the bar, and it's a super quiet hotel for being in the centre of Manchester.

The building is lovely, clean and modern
The first night the hallways were rather noisy from doors slamming closed, Breakfast was the most disappointing part, not worth the price even at the discounted £12+, lack of hot food choice, soggy hash brown bites, rubbery scrambled eggs, cold boiled eggs, bruised bananas and oranges, If I had known I would have saved my money and found a cafe or another hotel/bar that offered a wider range of English breakfast items. Also didn’t think it was acceptable that after breakfast was served the bar area was then made inaccessible due to a conference taking place. No prior notice was given to any customers about this or any alternative for the bar. We planned on checking out of our room and staying for coffee as we had over an hour until our train home only to find it blocked off, we ended up having to leave and wait at the station instead. If this had been communicated on booking/arrival we could have made arrangements for an earlier train or late check out. Communication could be improved saying all this i would choose to stay again as it is a nice hotel, warm & clean.

We asked for a high floor room and were given an excellent corner bedroom looking out over the city. Our thanks to Lorna for arranging that.
The staff are lovely. Smiling, keen to help and made our stay a memorable one.
Breakfast was fine. Plenty to choose from. Lovely fresh fruit cocktail but the machine coffee wasn’t the best.
Small detail in what was largely a great stay. Thanks again to all involved.
Its location is amazing, nearby Chinese neighborhood. Breaksfast is plenty of good food. Staff was very helpful, especially Florinda, she was very kind with us.

The staff were really friendly, especially the lady on reception on sat 24th around 3pm. We were upgraded which was an added bonus and the room was really spacious, clean and I couldn't fault it.
I can't think of anything to be honest, it was excellent value for money.
Amazing location, got upgraded to a double king, the bathroom tub is amazing, bathroom in general is very spacious. Breakfast is OK.
The hotel is good. Location and atmosphere are fine. Rooms are big enough and clean. Breakfast good but variety is not enough. Could be improved but service was good. Especially there was a lady called Florinda was so nice. With a smiley face she is very helpful.
