Lockers didn't work
I stayed there a couple weeks ago at the end of October for my birthday trip to Colorado. Never have stayed at this type of hotel before, but I LOVED it. BEAUTIFUL views of the Colorado mountains right behind the property. Walking paths that take you all over the place. As you walk the path, you see everything. The rooms are shared, but the room I got was just for a couple people. It had a bed and bathroom(some shelves) and that was it!, BUT I was never in my room anyway. They have a nice area on the main floor with tables and chairs in the main area, and multiple tvs, and a bar! You can just sit back, relax, and talk to complete strangers. Or if that is not your thing, you can play board games, or video games(they have that), grill outside in the beautiful back yard, or take a walk, or whatever. You can just do YOUR thing and nobody bothers you. That's a good thing. It was very peaceful. I also loved the 'honor' system where you bring your own food, put your name on it, and store in the fridge, and it won't get touch. Really enjoyed this place and this concept!

I wish is was more accommodating for travelers who arrived early. I took the train, so it arrived a few hours earlier than I expected surprisingly. My room wasn't ready when I arrived, and they told me that I would be notified when it was, but they never did. The only reason I knew my room was ready is when I went to them to get an update.
It’s clean safe, mattress is comfortable, quiet , good view from room . Coffee is good , kitchen is perfect .
No breakfast provided but self serve kitchen was available.
Everything was comfortable and welcoming.
Everything was excellent, staff, facilities and amenities. Also, enjoyed the open-mic night performances.
Beautiful hotel, great location and if you are someone who likes meeting new people, this is the place to do it.

My stay at The Block Hotel & Commons was amazing. From the first moment we arrived at this hotel, their staff is extremely exceptional. The whole team was friendly, attentive and always willing to help with a smile. You can see the genuine commitment to providing excellent service! Regarding the facilities, it is a modern, cozy, comfortable, clean and very well maintained place. The location is perfect, it has very good landscapes, restaurants, shops and nearby attractions for enjoyment. They really exceeded my expectations I recommend the block hotel & commons 100%, it's a wonderful place!
