The design.
If the restaurant is part of the hotel. It was incredibly slow. I went down to order and paid to have it delivered to my room. They told me 10-15 minutes. It’s was 45 minutes !! I had to go down to collect it myself. This lateness meant I could not eat it all as I had to sleep. So it was wasted. It is in a fairly noisy area very early in the morning. I may have just been unfortunate that refuse was being collected.
Lovely clean room and hotel, friendly staff and good location for getting into the 02
It would of been nice to of had a separate bar area to the restaurant
Budynek jest bardzo ładny, stary
Location .food... hotel was fantastic
Nothing
Clean. Lovely rooms. Nice staff. E have stayed in 3 different room types. Been here 5 times now. Had no complimentary upgrades but may be because the hotel may have been full.
The front desk person when we came in was friendly and informative. The foyer area was very well presented and the bed was comfortable and a good location for the 02
The breakfast was very disappointing - the allergens we had didn't seem to have been taken on board much. One of us is gluten intolerant, but was told about vegan options instead. After gluten intolerence was clarified, the staff member didn't ask what we'd like but just brought us out food that we didn't necessarily want - communication here would have improved the experience, as if they'd told us what they could offer and ask us what we wanted, we could have saved food waste. New plates were brought out in front of us but the top one was dirty and the staff member just laughed and brushed the dirt off before putting them down, which made us unsure of the cleanliness.
There were stains on the carpet, the lights were hard to work out. We needed instructions on how to work them but these weren't provided. The air conditioning was filthy and there were no instructions for how to work the shower, which was also confusing. There was a large crack in the window.
The lift situation was not explained before we arrived (the main lift only went up to level 2, and a slower, hydrolic lift then took you up to level 3) and there was no signage on where the stairs were, so if you wanted to just go up the first lift, it didn't seem possible to then take the stairs up to level 3. It seemed you either had to do all stairs one way, or all lift one way. The person on the front desk when we left, didn't seem that bothered when we left. We also weren't told beforehand we would need to put down a £50 safety deposit, which I still have not received back 6 days later.
Wonderful character, superb decor and friendly staff.
I upgraded as it was a special occasion so I liked how our room was on a different level to the bathroom and getting ready. The decor was so nice, we felt very premium within our stay.
The light situation was so handy! Birthday decorations were lovely too.
I only had two issues, the stairs in our rooms were very slippery if you were in socks. Fine for going up and down in barefoot or shoes.
The temperature of the room kept changing even after waiting the advised 20 minutes in the instructions. So we kept getting very warm.
It’s a beautiful hotel. We have stayed in three different types of rooms over four times we have stayed here five times. We have never had been offeredmen
The second visit was a bit of a disaster when my husband slipped in the shower ab
The room was nice and close
to the o2 and train station
Tv didn’t work
payed extra £20 for a decorated room (it had 3 small balloons and a few petals on the bed) not worth the £20
Got to the hotel at 2pm sat outside to wait for our room food was left in an opened box in the middle of the walk way ( sauces and packs of chicken ) none fresh was left out for way over an hour with no cover and not chilled which is a health and safety risk the food was also accessible by anyone so anyone could do anything to it as no one was around
have tried to contact the hotel and no luck
also got told landmark view our view was off someone’s house
La cortesia dello staff, sia in struttura che al ristorante
Migliorerei la varietà della colazione
Location and room was nice
Small things like no light bulb in bedside table, small dining area. Went down for a drink mid afternoon and felt like we’d interrupted a family meal so didn’t feel overly comfortable in the bar.
Bed mattress was in need of changing, wasn’t the best night sleep.
Staff however were very friendly.
Close to the O2 arena, room was spacious and hotel felt classy despite being very reasonably priced
