Pros:

We booked an apartment with balcony. The view was amazing to wake up to or enjoy a coffee in the evening.
The rooftop breakfast is also very good.
It is literally 5 mins walk to the BLUE MOSQUE and 7 mins to Hagia Sophia. There are plenty of restaurants near by as well.

perfect location - 10 min walk to the tram T1, the Blue Mosque, ~15 min to other attractions, lots of restaurants and coffeeshops around. friendly staff, you can ask a nice lady at the breakfast for a fresh turkish coffee

Cons:

the apartments could use some love and care - they do need some thorough cleaning and partial renovation. the bedroom has such a beautiful view yet the windows are dirty. the bathroom needs attention as well
if you are a light sleeper the penthouse apt is not your option - there's some huge yellow thing (a generator? a water boiler? idk) on the roof that makes loud engine noise and vibrates through the walls

Gut gepflegtes Hotel in bester Lage.
Pros:

Das Beste ist die Lage und die Aussicht. Auch beim Frühstück blickt man direkt aufs Meer. Die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß ein einigen Minuten erreichbar. Das Hotel ist schon etwas älter, aber gut gepflegt und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
