Ndlovu Safari Lodge

Excellent staff and Hosts/owners was so welcoming. Great location very peaceful and spotless rooms with delicious food. We felt like family. Was send off with drums and song, so special. Thank you for a great time.

Ndlovu is a stunning property. The facilities are first class. The lavish villas have abundant private indoor and outdoor spaces to relax (and cool off - the plunge pool overlooking the river was a real treat). Fancy a bath? You’ll have to decide between the enormous indoor tub, or the stylish outdoor clawfoot bath. The beds are super comfortable - fans, air-con and mosquito nets ensure a peaceful sleep.

The main lodge spaces are just as inviting. Multiple places to relax (on the deck, watching the ever-entertaining zebras, warthogs, kudu), by the main pool, or inside the lounge.

The staff are exceptional. Our guide, April, was extremely knowledgeable and generous with his expertise. As well as amazing sightings of a huge range of animals, we learned about the properties of various plants, about how the environment was being managed, and various tidbits about animal behaviour. An unbeatable experience.

Timmy managed the food and beverage service at the lodge like a star. Warm and friendly service (and maker of an excellent gin and tonic with a twist!).

Eine wunderschöne Lodge mitten in der Natur, in der man auf keinerlei Luxus verzichten muss. Die Speisen sind sensationell, das Personal liebevoll zurückhaltend und zugleich sehr aufmerksam. Incredible safari experience at Ndlovu - literally cannot say enough good things about this place! The attention to detail here is incredible. From the moment we were collected from the gate by our ranger April we knew this would be a special experience. Game drives were suburb - we saw the big 5 many times over plus many other animals as well. April is extremely knowledgable and easy to get along with as well. Rooms were huge and gorgeous, the private pool was fabulous. The food was excellent - big shout out to Chef Peter and Chef Simon for keeping us well fed during our stay and making an effort to make delicious vegetarian food for me. Most of all it was the staff who were amazing and special mention of Zach who made us laugh at every meal while maintaining excellent service. Incredible stay and the perfect way to spend our honeymoon!

The staff was the best. Phil, our ranger, was excellent. 5 stars for the food. Our stay was also 5 stars. Hope to be back soon.

We loved everything! The whole team is amazing, especially the manager Sanet, Zack (service) and April (our guide for the game drives) made sure we had a memorable stay. We managed to see all of the big five and will definitely come back to this special place.

Best place for when you need time out from the bustling and hustling of the world. Very peaceful, neat and beautiful. The service from the stuff ( waiters, housekeeping, game driver rangers, chefs) was very exceptional and super professional. As for the food, wow!

The rooms and service was second to none, absolutely amazing and brilliant! We loved the warm fire in the room as well as every evening relaxing by the outside firepit.
