Not a good experience at all
Pros:

Receptionist tried her very best, she was the only one ever on duty, no night cover, totally overwhelming for her

Cons:

Many issues at this hotel, main one being you cannot pay by credit card. This was a huge problem for us, we had 7 rooms for 5 nights costing over 60,000 baht, who carries that much foriegn currency around, told we have to pay through booking.com after our stay!!!
Drain in our room was unbelievably smelly, made you heave just going in there, a known issue for this room apparently, room 103. Pool when we arrived was dirty and cloudy, cleared up by day 4. You have to request housekeeping every day to service your room and leave your key on the desk, no security at all, anyone could come in and pick up anyone's key at any time when desk is unattended.
Bedlinen and towels very old, ripped and stained, one day they had run out of clean towels and only left us one, we had to share after showering after coming back from the beach,we had to wait until the evening for the other one.
Rooms in very poor condition, peeling paint on doors, floors dirty and stained etc etc.
The beach is about 400 metres across a very busy road, very rocky, you have to walk another 500 meters to get to sand

Cons:

There was one MAJOR negative issue: hygiene

We stayed at Du Sila from 11 to 15 april 2023. On the second night i was bitten by bedbugs. In total i recieved more than 50 bites on the right side of my body. When i reported this the day after and showed the bitemarks on my legs and torso to the staff, their only response was to offer to clean the room again. We then asked for another room. The next day they simply rented the infected room (room B205) again to another guest ...

Because this manner of bevavior does not show any respect for the public health, i rate this hotel negative and strongly advise not to stay in room B205.
