The position and the cleanliness
The room was really small but it had everything we needed.
Wir waren im Doppelzimmer im 4. Stock und es war sehr sauber! Es wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und frische Handtücher bereitgestellt. Es war ruhig und die U-Bahn kaum hörbar - hat garnicht gestört. Bequemes Bett, Zimmergröße und Badezimmer komplett ausreichend und zum wohlfühlen. Im Doppelzimmer und Badezimmer gibt es Fenster. Es gibt außerdem kostenlosen Wasserspender, still und Sprudel, sowie eine Teestation.
Beste Lage 5min zum Hydepark, 3min zum Bahnhof, Top Restaurants direkt nebenan.

No lift to upper floors and significant tube and/or tube noise on lower floors but this generally reflected in the price.
Geweldige locatie en sympathieke accommodatie. Zeer prettig dat er 24/7 personeel aanwezig was.
Soms waren de geluiden van de Tube te horen. dat was overigens mij bekend.

-Underground train noise 0545 to 0030 - just ridiculous, the room shakes. Yes they warn you but it's not some subtle distant noise, it's an in-room rumble if you are unlucky enough to be given a basement courtyard room?

-Very few TV channels, eg no.Freeview BBC ITV etc.
Die Unterkunft war modern, super sauber und gemütlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Wir fanden es etwas schade, dass der schöne Ausblick vom vierten Stock teilweise von einer Wand direkt vor dem Fenster verdeckt wurde.

Small room and small bed. Tube trains noise which we were only told about after booking.
The location, very close to Paddington Station, in a quiet Square is good. The rear rooms face the underground railway but plenty of warning is given about this. The staff were very pleasant.
This is a modest, reasonably priced hotel in an old fashioned, period building. However this is no excuse for not supplying any cups at all in the room. We eventually located some paper ones by the water dispenser on the ground floor which served the purpose.
