We recently stayed at the Krystal Ixtapa All-Inclusive, and while there were a few bumps in the road, the overall experience was a positive one for our family.
The Good Stuff
Let’s start with the highlights because there were many. First and foremost, the ocean views are absolutely breathtaking; waking up to that sight every morning was a highlight of the trip. The location is perfect, offering direct and easy access to the beach, and if you want to head into town, grabbing transportation is a breeze.
As for the resort itself:
* The Food: Everything we ate was fresh and truly delicious.
* The Staff: Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
* The Room: Our space was clean and surprisingly spacious, which is always a plus for a family stay.
* The Pools: The pool area was fantastic and definitely where we spent most of our time.
The Not-So-Good
It wasn't a perfect stay, though. On our first night, the AC in our room broke. It could have ruined the night, but I have to give a shout-out to the customer service team—they worked incredibly fast to transfer us to a new room so we could get some sleep.
A few other minor critiques:
* Food Variety: While the quality was high, the variety was quite limited. It felt like we were seeing pretty much the same menu every single day.
* Drinks: The cocktails and beverages could definitely use a bit of an upgrade in terms of quality.
* The Property: You can tell the installations are a little old, but to their credit, everything is kept in good, working condition.
Final Verdict
Despite the older building and the repetitive menu, the friendly service and that incredible view made it a great vacation. It’s a solid choice for anyone looking for a convenient beach getaway in Ixtapa.
