Fine, but not great
Pros:

Good location. Clean room.

Cons:

Welcoming staff didn’t hand me the guest card, which covers free bus travel within Interlaken and some nearby bus and rail stations (and they’d even asked if I’d arrived by car or train, to which i replied “by train”). Found out about it 2 days later and asked for it myself.

Breakfast is mediocre, the options are good, but nothing tastes great.

Showering is no fun when you got two curtains sticking to you in a narrow space - the one at the windows and the privacy one which sort of keeps you from flooding the bathroom.

Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast selections were great. Walking distance to the center of the town. Parking lot is right at the entrance.

Cons:

No sound proofing. We can hear neighbours talking.

It was close to the station and decent amenities

Cons:

I booked a Superior Double Room with Balcony based on the photos and description provided on the listing, but the reality was completely different. It feels like the images used are highly exaggerated or perhaps from a different category of room altogether.
• Misleading Advertising: The room was not as advertised. The layout, size, and quality did not align with the professional photos shown online.
• Value for Money: I paid a premium for a "Superior" experience, but received a standard (or sub-standard) room.
• Transparency: It is very disappointing to feel misled by a property. Future guests should be cautious, as the visual representation on the site is not an accurate reflection of the actual rooms.

Cons:

Das Zimmer (114) hatte weder einen Tisch noch Stühle, kein Nachttisch, die Sachen konnte man auf dem Fußboden deponieren.
Bettbreite 139cm, mag zwar nach Ihren Richlinien genügen für normalwüchsige Mitteleuropäer unannehmbar, wurde bei der Buchung durch Sie nicht erwähnt, durch den Umbau zum Doppelbett liegt die Matratze auf dem Bettrahmen und nicht innerhalb, Absturzhöhe ca 85cm.
Heizung defekt, Halterung für Duschkopf fehlt.
Bei der Abreise wird man dann noch mit vorher nicht mitgeteilten Parkgebühren von 5,-/Tag konfrontiert.
Die Gästekarte als Grundlage für Ermäßigungen wurde erst auf Nachfrage am dritten Tag ausgestellt.

Overall, good experience, but room for improvement.

Cons:

Breakfast was okay, but not diverse. There was no fridge in the room, nor something to heat your food in, considering that they dont offer dinner options I think a small kitchen and a small fridge are necessary.

Very nice and I’ll be back again.
Pros:

The property is very nice, mountain views, near the train station , bus stop opposite the hotel. The locaction Interlaken West, not far to all beautiful places you want to see. Breakfast is very good. Our room is very nice and cleaned all through our stay. Staff are approachable and very nice too.

Pros:

Clean, rustic hotel. Beds made every day, towells changed daily.
Very friendly & helpful reception & breakfast staff.
Breakfast was wonderful!

Cons:

As it is an old building, you can hear room above guests walking about, taking a shower etc.
I like firm pillows but only soft squidgy ones available.
