Quiet location to rest and continue traveling, by car or train.
Pros:

Good location outside the chaos of Interlaken. Nice garden and breakfast. Parking outside. Gorgeous view of Jungfrau from backside of hotel.

Cons:

Too much air freshener in the room! Had to open the windows for along time.

Pros:

A nice hotel with a pretty garden. The room was specious and well furnished. The location is really calm and very close to the train station.

Cons:

Unfortunately, you can hear everything from the corridor. And the footsteeps from the room on the upper floor because of the old wooden floor squeaking.

Additionally, the room was on the ground floor and there are tables on the terrace where people can eat breakfast just in front of your window very early in the morning. So, again, noises, and you cannot really have a window open in the morning. People can also keep walking really just in front of your room. The garden is pretty but the access to it for other people should be better organised to minimise the inconvenience for this particular room.

Pros:

A vista do quarto era muito boa (deitámos e acordámos a olhar para as montanhas) e o espaço exterior era muito agradável. O pequeno-almoço era bom.

Cons:

Ouvia-se muito barulho nos outros quartos e nos corredores devido à estrutura do hotel. Além disso, reservámos com a expectativa de usufruir do jacuzzi (provavelmente o principal fator de escolha) mas este encontrava-se em manutenção nos 2 dias em que ficámos hospedadas. Não houve aviso prévio desta situação, pelo que sugeríamos que pudesse haver dias fixos de manutenção que não impactassem estadias de 1 noite, ou pelo menos um aviso antecipado.

Amazing and relaxing!
Pros:

- Location regarding the scenery and closeness to transportation

Pros:

The receptionist is very good and friendly! since there is no elevator, they help me carry my luggage to the room. It’s really thankful. And you can store your luggage before check-in and after check out it’s really helpful!

First and most important staff were all lovely. The breakfast is spot on and its very relaxed. Its an older hotel, a little creaky and 'old' school'. But for us that worked. What was the best thing we went to sleep (I slept the best in years), I pulled back the curtain and the mountain had decided to appear over night!!! The village it sits in is really pretty too with a fab pizza place near by. Go for a little walk if you can. As for the garden, I have no words at all which would do it justice. A fab stay.

Cons:

Honestly nothing, in terms of what you pay for and the other prices locally this is exceptional.

Pros:

I booked 3 nights at the Alpenrose Hotel during the Trucker & Country Festival. I really enjoyed my stay. A fantastic few from my room to the Jungfrau and the beautiful garden from the hotel.
The breakfast was fantastic, the staff friendly, in a really quiet street and very close to the train station.
I definitely can recommend this place.
