The Milo

Location is great. Right in the heart of everything and near the beach. so many good places to walk right from the front door. Good coffee in the morning and very accessible.

The atmosphere.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The multiple outdoor seating options gave us great opportunity to meet other travelers and enjoy the fantastic weather.

Wonderful location opposite the beach and close to the Main Street. Also conveniently located about 200m from the Amtrak train station. The rooms were spacious and had great views from the balcony overlooking the ocean.

The property is in A great location right across from the beach. The staff were very friendly. 2 pools and a hot tub. Very clean. Room updated and styled nicely. We missed hot cocoa and s’mores but what a wonderful touch! We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant which was great!

I thought being my second time in SB I would choose a little better hotel than I did last time. The Milo looked nice and it was, but for the price it wasn't a whole lot better than Best Western. For my purposes it lacked a little table I could work on and lighting was low. It was right on the beach and close to the pier, which was nice to grab some food at. The plus for me was that it was a few minute's walk to Jeannine's, a great breakfast spot in SB

Beautiful experience, the bed was soooo comfortable

We had such a magical time, the ambience of the hotel is warm and welcoming. The view of the beach from our room was something out of a fairytale, the beds was the most comfortable and the customer service was amazing and so welcoming. They offered assistance and a warm smile with every encounter. I love The Milo and can’t wait to come back to my new home away from home.

Had a wonderful stay at the Milo. Construction/ renovation is complete - beautifully updated rooms, lovely vibe, super clean, very charming. Perfect location right across from the beach. Was able to literally walk across the street for our kayak tour of the harbor. Staff was wonderful, friendly, helpful and super accommodating - visited off season during the week, so they kindly gave us a free room upgrade and late checkout. Front desk offered restaurant recommendations - Chad's Café (diner) and Jeanine's Restaurant & Bakery are both great! Valet provided us with free bike rentals to tool around town on. You do have to pay to Valet your car, but they have free in and out privileges, and honestly you can just leave your vehicle and explore on foot or bike most of the time. And we enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit/ s'more bar. There are also 2 pools, a bocce ball court, and a cute garden area. Great property! Would absolutely return.

We've enjoyed the Milo several times over the past years and this experience was equal to or even better than usual. Everything was simple, accurate and quick in reserving, arriving and obtaining our room. Staff were exceptionally welcoming, helpful and engaging. The room was great: stylish and well-appointed. We always bring our dog and he was comfortable and had everything he needed. Milo offers a very comfortable, scenic and enriching beachfront experience with lush landscaping and handsome common areas. On this visit, they needed to move us to another room on the 2nd day due to plumbing issues in the wing where we were originally located (we didn't experience any issues ourselves). They were most apologetic and helpful in this process and generously offered a significant discount as compensation for the inconvenience. Always a delight to stay at this property.

Excellent location. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. Nightly smores for the firepits, towels on the pool chairs, bath robes and slippers, complimentary bikes and beach chairs were a nice touch.
