Clean and central, just a bit noisy

Great town centre location, it was very clean, staff friendly and helpful

Cons:

It was noisier than I had expected, since the ground floor rooms are right on the same street as a few late night venues. Not super loud, but I heard people talking outside and cars driving past pretty much all night, and the rubbish trucks first thing

Really comfortable stay, extremely clean, nice bath, good facilties
Pros:

The room was in character with the establishment and it was very clean and comfortable. Nice bath with piping hot water was an added bonus! Plenty of beverage selections/hairdryer and top windows that opened fully allowing fresh air in.

Cons:

Not necessary a complaint as it can't be helped ...Just a bit noisy throughout the night due to traffic, as room faced tat direction. However, i did have the windows open due to it being a warm day.

It was okay close to town and pubs

Friendly staff, nice selection of beer , good food options, comfortable bed

Cons:

The rooms could do with a make over and up dating , the room was far to hot even though the window was open and the fan was blowing . The plug socket at the end of the bed in room 18 was hanging out the wall .

My Room in particular was hot all night every night 35-36degrees!
When eventually I did tell them The night porter said, "yes, we know"
Rooms 24 & 4 were just bearable, rooms 10 & 12 ere very warm but my room was hot. I took my heart bpm one night it was 111! Which was dangerously high They couldn't give me another room so I'm going to try and get some money back.
Yes the weather was hot outside but everywhere else we went to visit had Air-conditioning.
The only photos I will share are the ones showing the temperature in my room with the thermometer I bought for the occasion! 😡
