Very characterful place adjacent to the main Tudor street in Worcester likely also with Tudor origins and probably listed. Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. You have to watch your head on low beams though and the corridor plan on the first floor has to be memorised with care although that's part of the olde worlde experience.
You are not going to sleek modern facilities but they probably have to fit in with the historic character so that's what you get.
It was a lay over stay on our way to cornwall, perfect location. Staff was soo friendly, breakfast was tasty, even the dog had a sausage.
Hotel room was standard, bed didnt feel big for 2 grown adults (double).
No air con in the room, it was very hot so we had the windows opened. The England match was on and it was late at night, it was very noisy with people shouting, not rhe hotels fault but dont expect a quiet night.

the room was boiling hot, and the window could not be opened. there was a small fan, but it did not come close to cooling the room down. Additionally, there was no toilet paper, which i think was an oversight, but the desk was not manned in the morning and so there was nobody to ask.
