We stayed here for 3 weeks. The room was tiny. The bed was small and uncomfortable. It felt like it needs to be replaced. The room only got cleaned when we asked and not every time. This property is not close to anything...which isn't bad if you speak Thai. It is close to the BTS but we took Grab cars everywhere we went. They offer laundry services but they are way overpriced. The workers spoke only Chinese and Thai so we had to communicate only through WhatsApp. The communication barrier was real. Considering the prices you can get in Bangkok, skip this one and get a different hotel.
The location is great near by the BTS. Just a few minute walks. The room is clean. The staff is helpful especially Dada :).
There's a problem with the hot water in the shower.
It was very clean, I read a review about bedbugs, we checked did not find any. It was cheap about 76 CAD.
The noisy fridge and the noise outside. I did not like the warning not to bleed on the towels it really gave me the ick feeling, while I understand why it was still gross.
The place was spotless and clean and nicely decorated. Our room was large and the bed was big and comfortable.The staff were helpful and friendly. Just a 5 minutes walk to the BTS station.
They only had one pillow each on the bed and had no more available when we asked. The room would have benefited to have had some cups and cutlery as the hotel provides a kettle and it has a kitchette.
The shower has a rather odd system to open and have hot water, it took us 2 days to realize! But all we needed to do is ask the friendly staff, they are always happy to help! I also had an issue with the key and they assisted me even if it was off hours. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Hot water timer didn't last long enough to even wet yourself and then wouldn't reset.
Incredible quality service and facilities, especially at the price point. The staff, Leo in peticular, is always going above and beyond to help you. He can give recommendations for just about anything you need. He is mutilingual and very sociable, making us feel welcomed from day one.
The snack bar is always fully stocked, and the espresso machine is top notch. Great for a luxurious morning brew.
My wife and I highly recommend The Star of Sathorn for extended stays because it really felt like home.

My experience at the star of Saddlehorn hotel was just superb. It is a small hotel that offers personalized service and excellent accommodations. It is decorated in a unique, personalized and beautiful way. Cleanliness is outstanding. My breakfasts were amazing with every detail done with care and an eye for aesthetics as well as a variety of interesting tastes. I am visually impaired and the staff went out of their way to help me get around the city. They looked after me as though I was family.

Quartier bien placé sur Bangkok. En plus on est pas dans un quartier de touriste, autour de vous la vie du thaïlandais, loin des bk, mcdo ou kfc ^_^

I stay 4 days and had a great time. Staff was always helpful and super nice. My booking included breakfast and I liked very much Thai style served breakfast. BTS station near to hotel. Good Wi-Fi and it worked whole my stay. Two 7-Eleven shops and few Thai food restaurants near to hotel.
Very friendly and home-feel experience, like living in friend's home. Just next to BTS where you can have free shuttle to Iconsiam. We enjoyed 100%.
