The perfect home-base with all the amenities and helpful staff that you would need!
Pros:

Our stay here was after 4 days in Tokyo, so we liked having more of a home-feel as our base. It allowed us to do laundry, cook, and have more space for relaxing.

Cons:

I really didn’t care for the washer/dryer. It was not easy to figure out. It took way too long. And, most of the time, the clothes were still damp after over 3 hours in the small appliance.

Perfect spot for a family.
Pros:

Great room set up, with two separate bedrooms, each with own bathrooms. Sitting area and separate dining area was super comfortable. Perfect set-up for our family of four.
Best of all, happy hour every day! Tea, coffee, hot/cold chocolate, beer and sake! Staff at front desk were always helpful. Location was great, easy walk to subway and also to shopping and restaurants.

Can't think of anything!

Wonderful Suite to Spread Out In
Pros:

The hotel was exactly what we were looking for. A bigger space to spread out with laundry in room. The laundry machine had an option to do wash and dry cycle together which was a game changer to make sure we always had fresh clothes in the morning. Kyoto in general does not as robust train/subway system so we did find out family of 3 walking or taking cabs more then we did in Tokyo.

Great stay with friendly & helpful staff
Pros:

The staff was wonderful and very helpful! The area is close to stores and about a 15 min walk to the market. Having 2 bedrooms & bathrooms was very nice.

Cons:

I wish the happy hour went a little longer and that there was even a very small breakfast offering.

Hotel provided a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place for a family to rest and recharge.
Pros:

We liked the option of having two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a small kitchen for our family of four. Everyone got a better sleep and could have some privacy when needed. We were very glad to have the sofa and small table and chairs to relax in at the end of long days of sightseeing. We enjoyed the charm of the neighborhood (including our view of the temple across the street) and the overall convenience of the location. We also loved the daily happy hour that featured local sake and beer options!

Cons:

The only troublesome thing was that one room did not have much floor space to lay out a large suitcase. We had to keep that one out in the family room area.

Pros:

Friendly helpful staff. Quiet location close to 7/11 and 10 minutes walk to centre. Clean rooms, free drinks in the lobby.

Cons:

Combined washer/dryer took a long time to get through one load. Rooms without a window were a bit hot and stuffy. However minor points - overall we liked this hotel a lot
