The view of Etna and positioning above Taormina is exceptional. The staff are friendly [especially Sam] and always there to help. The hotel shuttle service is reliable and needed, with the hike being pretty challenging on the way up. The shuttle makes trips to the Centre very easy. We really enjoyed our stay. For the best view of Etna, try to get the Da Vinci Suite.
A little more variety at breakfast, but that’s us being very picky.

Lovely hotel. Great views. Nice restaurant on the premises
The sat nav took us up a very scary dirt track for half an hour to get to the hotel. Very windey track, with sheer cliff drops and very narrow two way track. It was terrifying. There is a proper road to get to the hotel and suggest you ensure you take that route rather than the dirt track!
The breakfast was great with a wide variety of items. The view from the hotel is also impressive although we didn't get to appreciate it much due to the rain/bad weather.
The bed was uncomfortable and the room was very small. Because it is a 25 minute walk to the main street you have to depend on the shuttle service as going back is completely uphill. We were charged for parking although on the Booking.com website it stated free parking: "In a panoramic location above Taormina, the family-run Villa Angela offers great views of Mount Etna and Naxos Bay. It features a swimming pool, uniquely styled rooms and free parking."
Villa Angela is simply fabulous. From the minute you walk in, you receive a warm welcome and the staff are very attentive throughout your stay.
The room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic large balcony offering amazing views.
Dinner was lovely and you can find a wide selection on offer for breakfast.
The shuttle service is an added bonus.
Cant fault this hotel and look forward to returning.

Top Lage mit toller Terrasse am Zimmer und Blick auf den Ätna. Ein wirklich riesiges Frühstückbufet mit sehr vielen lokalen und internationalen Spezialitäten lässt keine Wünsche offen....dazu der Ausblick. Wir hatten eine Panne (leere Batterie, an einem Sonntag) und der nette Herr an der Rezeption hat uns super geholfen. Das Shuttle hinunter in den Ort ist auch top. Gerne wieder.

The hotel is wonderfully located with excellent views of Mount Etna, snow covered peak at this time of year. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and helpful and the included breakfast was excellent. The regular shuttle into Taormina was necessary from the hotel location, and Taormina was beautiful with lots of excellent restaurants and bars. Highly recommend Villa Angela
