Review of Royal Hotel Ladysmith
Pros:

In the middle of town, noisy, no one helped with our bags from the car park. The rooms are ld like an old gentleman's club. We thought about moving but too much of s hassle. The actual facility is nowhere near booking.com's pictures.

Pros:

The hotel is very old- but was happy that the rooms are clean. The bed comfortable. The place is also right in town and easy to get to. I needed a midpoint place to rest before driving to Pietretief and it served the purpose.

Cons:

The reception area is really screaming for an upgrade!

Communication with the security and admin was very good. The place was very neat and water was very hot. Air-conditioning was working.
