Great! Our family of four enjoyed our time in La Paz and stay at Casa Al Mar.
Pros:

Convenient location on the Malecón, walking distance to restaurants and sites in the center, all the staff members very kind and provided us with exceptional service.

Not the most comfortable stay, I regret booking this place.
Pros:

Right on the malecon, walking distance to a lot of food places and shops. Front staff are helpful and friendly.

Cons:

For the price, one would expect clean and of quality rooms. The AC didn’t work on the first night, maintenance was called to fix it right after we reported it faulty when we checked in the room. The maintenance guy left the main door open and a hornet flew in the room and basically told us “oh there’s a hornet that flew in” like it’s now our problem to get it out. Advertised as sound proofed rooms but they’re not. Very loud and noisy at night.

Room was very spacious and nicely decorated.
Although right on Malecon, it was very quite
We could leave our bags after checking out and pick them up later

Cons:

It was not a problem for us, but you have to be aware that there are stairs in the room.

Schönes Hotel aber Strand ist weit weg
Pros:

Sehr schönes Hotel, mitten in der Stadt. Viele Geschäfte und Restaurants.

Cons:

Zwar direkt am Strand aber man kann dort nicht schwimmen oder baden. Guter Strand ist ca. 6 km entfernt.
