Lovely staff, food was delicious & room was ideal. Clean, had what you needed & quiet. The tuck shop on site was perfect for a little sweet treat!
Payment for parking is the only downside.
The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the room was reasonably clean and comfortable. The facilities were satisfactory for a short overnight stay. Overall, the hotel met my basic expectations and provided a decent place to rest for the night.
The Wi-Fi kept dropping out, possibly because of where my room was located. Other than that, everything was fine.
Handy location, plenty of space in the room, recently refurbished.
Unlined curtains meant room was very light from quite early in the morning, and I would imagine the room would be quite cold at night come winter without lined curtains (no double glazed windows). Shower was warm not hot. Didn’t appreciate now having to pay for parking in the ample car park.
Breakfast was okay
Creeky floor boards outside and thin walls, lots of noise, mould in bathroom, great big spot light outside the bedroom window on all night and thin curtains so couldnt block out the light, website states free parking then find out when we arrive it's £7 to park, bed was uncomfortable thin foam mattress, could t sleep on it and room was a bit cramped

In need of an upgrade. Rooms were comfortable but decor, fixtures and fittings in need of an upgrade. Front entrance to pub was well maintained but rear entrance to hotel had a slight smell of damp and approach from carpark unkempt with weeds growing through pavement
