Pros:

Schönes Hotel - toll renoviert mit Erinnerungen an alte Zeiten. Infrastruktur (Garage, Skiraum) top.

Cons:

Leider viele respektlose Eltern mit Kleinkindern, welche durch Herumrennen und Schreien das tolle Frühstück und die anderen Hotelgäste störten. Einfach schade, dass heutzutage die Erziehungsberechtigten noch fast mehr daneben sind als deren Babies. Das Altein Faern Hotel wäre für mich prädestiniert um auf "Adults Only" zu machen.

Das Personal beim Frühstück ist wirklich schlimm. Man steht ewig da und hat keinen Nachschub, der Gast wird rüpelhaft behandelt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt bei diesem Hotel NICHT!

Large Resort Energy, Lacking Warmth and Value
Pros:

Rooms are pretty and clean with a gorgeous view on the mountain - as well as the terrace of the restaurant which also has a gorgeous view. Some of the staff are very kind.

Cons:

Overpriced for the amenities and level of service you get; ski room, elevators are not acceptable for the price you pay and need a real refresh. Everything is extra including parking space (which you have to book in advance but you don't get warned and they might not have space). Food is average, both in the restaurant and for breakfast. Service isn't great in restaurants.

Zimmergrösse eher klein, Nur eine sehr hohe Duschwanne, keine Schränke, kein Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer. Wellnessbereich Wasser zu kühl.

Die Lage war super und das Zimmer war auch wirklich schön und sauber.

Cons:

Preis-Leistung stimmt aus unserer Sicht nicht. Der Wellness-Bereich war in Ordnung, aber ist bereits sehr alt. Vor allem das Essen hat uns entäuscht. Wir waren sehr überrascht, dass man bei Halbpension am Morgen eine Eier-Omelette und am Abend für das Salatbuffet noch extra zahlen muss. Der Preis ist schon sehr hoch. Zudem wollten wir an einem Abend in der Pizzeria im obersten Stock essen, anstelle des 4-Gang-Menüs, da uns das Menü am ersten Abend nicht überzeugt hat. Pro Person wurden uns 20 Franken für das Essen gutgeschrieben, das heisst, wir mussten noch einiges draufzahlen.
Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt gut, der Preis war aber viel zu hoch. Daher würden wir das Hotel nicht nochmal buchen und auch nicht weiterempfehlen

In general a good hotel for a reasonable price. Room with balcony is worth it
Pros:

Clean, nice room, nice view , good staff, movies night is a great idea

Cons:

Breakfast - eggs options are very limited, sunny side up eggs are served cold. Omelette comes at additional price. Checkout is 10 am which is very early, though maybe it’s local policy.
