Awesome location and a very nice apartment, I would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

The location was great. The apartment was very nice with great views. I would recommend it to anyone. We had a wonderful time and we hope to visit again soon.

Cons:

The only thing that I didn’t like was the sound of construction in the building.

If you want the Copacabana Beach experience, this location is good.
Pros:

The apartment was modern and well organized, and it was clean. Most of the time it was quiet while we were there, with a few exceptions from both inside and outside the building. The owners provided a few towels and some shampoo. I liked the balcony, with "christ the redeemer" statue looking down at us from the very high peak. Local restaurants and grocery shopping were adequate. It was a short walk to the beach, with lots of daytime and nighttime activity.

Cons:

There were few amenities in the building. There were only two sheets on the bed. Fortunately, Rio is VERY warm and humid, so extra bedding was not necessary. There was no dish detergent and no liquid cleaning products for dishes or general cleaning. The neighborhood is working class and streets are very crowded most times. Tons of cars, buses and motorcycles, with accompanying noise levels. Mostly, we felt very safe there, but kept our wits about us at all times.
