We stayed in the Gardeners cottage which was ideal. It was peaceful and picture perfect and we had a lovely walk around the grounds in the evening before dinner. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was clean and perfectly ready to go when we arrived home from a long day of being on our feet at a local exhibition.

Quiet location easy to find with really good safe parking
Only marked facilities down as missing a swimming pool but everything else was great.
Stayed here many times : the approach, gardens & location truly exceptional : like a National Trust house! The main building is fabulous, very grand, if a little tired in places (some of the bedrooms in the main house) : this time, I stayed in the stable block which was more modern. Good value vs other hotels in the area and close by to the lovely village of Hartley Wintney.

Room in stable block was very poor, very tired and tatty. Mould on bathroom, poor shower. Very much in need of an overhaul.

The grand and oldness, how clean it , how friendly the staff were especially Sam on check in and Tom who showed us the room, both super friendly, polite, generally looked like they wanted to be there.

Beautiful location and building. Staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had amazing views. We had a wonderful stay.
Lots of stairs up to the room. Hard to shut the toilet door in the bathroom. Did not hinder our stay though, we would definitely return.

The surrounding areas. The room. And the building . The fact that English heritage fusion with the present is expectacular is a really nice tge whole atmosphere.
The staff very kind and welcoming and the breakfast was beatiful.
The bath was bloqued we had to unbloqued ourselves in tge middle of the night,and a very bad smell came out from the drainage.
I have ordered a club sandwich and even the waiter double checked twice about the type of bread and said brown bread I has been given white bread.
