This is one of our favourite places we’ve stayed! The rooms were clean, stylish, and very comfortable. We loved the beautiful balcony with views of the city. The snacks and coffee were such a nice touch, and we appreciated the complimentary laundry. There are cafes round the corner for breakfast (we loved Cafe Local), and it’s a short walk into town. The host was very responsive and helpful, and at the same time you felt independent with your own space.

Perfect stay! Spacious room, easy communication, free snacks & laundry service. There is no staff onsite, however, Andy is always available via messaging. It was very clean and quiet. We absolutely loved our stay. Location is on a 10 minute walk from the city centre, but it wasn't an issue for us at all, even at night - we walked to our accommodation from different areas of (central) Oaxaca. It was safe, with lots of great eateries nearby! Highly recommend this place.

Comfortable well appointed rooms and a spectacular 2-level rooftop deck with city and Mountain Views. Basic kitchen facilities are provided so you can prepare breakfast or lunch with the inexpensive fresh produce available throughout the city. Exceptionally clean and well cared for. Helpful staff
For those with limited mobility the location a few blocks south of the posher areas of the busy Bustamante street could be a downside but we always enjoyed the walk
Sehr schön und groß, eigene Küchenzeile. Waschservice war super, sonst haben wir nicht viel vom Personal mitbekommen.
Die Lage ist nicht direkt zentral im spannenden Teil von Oaxaca aber in 15 Minuten ist man überall hingelaufen.

The decor was very tasteful, clean and modern. The property is beautiful.
Everything! Nice room, clean towels every day. The roof top is amazing and what a treat with snacks, coffee and tea. All the small details such as a small basket with necessities, laundry service, books etc.
We had a question regarding very early check out and sent a message rather late in the evening. We immediately got a very nice answer, which really is good service.
Just a little obs: If you arrive after dark, don’t be put off by what might seem to be a longish walk to the center zocalo. It only takes 15 minutes and you pass a lot of shops on the way, so you quickly get used to the short walk and we felt perfectly safe also after dark.
The cleanliness, the staff (Vero), the location, the safety
My stay at Casa 821 was exceptionally great, however the ONLY thing I can say negatively was the loud noises in the middle of the night. There are dogs that howl for hours in the early hours of the morning (but thats almost impossible to control since I hear this sound almost everywhere I go in South America), but there was a neighbour living in a very close building to the bCasa 821 who played EXTREMELY LOUD spanish music at exactly 5:40am for 30-40 minutes. After that it was impossible to fall back asleep.
Il posto è bellissimo e la nostra stanza al primo piano aveva tutto il necessario, oltre a un bellissimo piccolo patio interno. Il letto era comodo e sia la stanza che l’intera struttura erano molto puliti. Si trova vicino al centro, a soli 15 minuti a piedi dallo Zócalo, e la sera è stato tranquillo tornare a piedi. Tutte le istruzioni per il check-in e il check-out erano chiarissime e la comunicazione con l’host è stata molto facile. Un punto molto positivo è stato il primo lavaggio dei vestiti gratuito.
