I booked Casa 821 last minute and it was , perhaps, the best decision of my trip to do so. The guesthouse was just the tonic after a disappointing stay elsewhere in Oaxaca. The rooms had a good amount of space and were meticulously clean. The laundry service was superb: with my clothes coming back in better condition than I have seen them in a long time! The snack bar on the roof terrace was a really nice additional touch and a lovely place to chill in the evenings. Thank you Casa 821 for turning my Oaxaca experience around!

Da wir am Abend einen Nachtbus nahmen, haben wir unser Gepäck in der Unterkunft gelassen (mit Schlüssel im Co-Work Space). Hat alles gut funktioniert.

Unterkunft liegt ein bisschen ausserhalb vom Zentrum.
Es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn die Türe zum WC auf der Dachterasse angeschrieben wäre. Weil wir haben das WC mehr durch Zufall entdeckt.
Very comfortable accommodation, especially the bed (spacious and soft)! Also very nice, large bathroom. The host was kind and responsive if we needed something. Glad we found this place!
Also, if you are in for local food, we loved the food at El Shobe a few meters to the right if you walk out of the accommodation, highly recommended!
It’s outside the city center but easily walkable 10-15 min or 5 min by taxi!

I had room 1 and I absolutely loved it. Super clean, lots of space, lovely design, love and attention to detail everywhere in the apartment, big windows and lots of natural light, a comfortable bed, relaxing rain shower and of course the free milk, cereals, coffee, tea, juice and cookies provided in the room. Also loved the rooftop terrace and the possibility to enjoy the calm evenings and look over the hills of Oaxaca.
We had a good stay overall and enjoyed our time at this accommodation. The room was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location.
The check-in process was easy, and the host was helpful whenever we had any questions. The apartment had everything we needed for a short stay.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we would recommend this place to others looking for a comfortable stay.
El diseño del lugar, la limpieza y orden, los snacks y disponibilidad de agua, juegos de mesa y libros. La ubicación también es muy buena para visitar el centro y la plaza. Sin embargo, si es un poco lejos para ir a barrios cómo Jalatlaco o Xochimilco caminando.
Me habría gustado la disponibilidad de una cocina, pero igualmente estuvo bien.
Ruime kamer en fijn dakteras. De host antwoordde ook steeds heel snel en het was zeer proper.
Klein bed en onze kamer was nog al donker.
La habitación era espaciosa y llegábamos al centro caminando 10 minutos

The property itself was lovely - very nice rooftop and the ammenties including laundry service and very responsive host was appreciated.
The room had no A/C so it was very very warm during the day and at night. We had to leave the windows open to try cool down the temperature and hence lots of mosquitoes & other ants came in. Was a difficult place to chill out due to the temperature and stuffy nature of the room. Was also at least a 20 minute walk to the centre of the town and to any bars/restaurants we wanted to go to.

The room is very nice
The house is amazing and with a beautiful terrace. Room is clean and everything is provided, even snacks/breakfast. There’s a beautiful terrace where we enjoyed our breakfasts.
Nothing, maybe just consider it is not in the city center but 15 mins walking distance from the zocalo so it was perfectly fine for us.
