Pampered at Hotel New Otani
Pros:

An wonderful roomy room , with a splendid view of the gardens- and on a clear day Mt Fuji. Great location next to many subway lines. Some good restaurants in walking distance. The staff at this hotel are exceptional. They are there to care for every need and to ensure your comfort. Loved the amenities, the cleaning, the small details. Discovered we could order extra towels, a blanket , ice for those nights we wanted to stay in. Very helpful assisting us with luggage forwarding. I left feeling pampered and relaxed.

Cons:

The pool wasn’t open.

A wonderful truly "Japanese" hotel experience.
Pros:

The staff were amazing, location was ideal. Felt away from the hustle and bustle but at the same time very close to everything. It was authentically Japanese which was lovely and was like stepping back to Japan many years ago. A lovely contrast of modern but quintessentially Japanese.

Cons:

Only small thing I could fault was the breakfast in the Garden Tower wasn't great in comparison to the Main Hotel, the main Hotel breakfast was amazing but it was costly.

понравилось все: завтракали в ресторане на 40 этаже с великолепным видом на город, завтрак был английский и японский 2 в 1, все очень вкусно. Можно попросить столик с видом и сидеть у окна. Косметика в номере люксовая, меняли каждый день. Уборка и смена полотенец каждый день (мы вешали табличку, когда уходили гулять). Рядом есть симпатичное французское бистро работает до 21 часа. В самом отеле множество магазинов и ресторанов. Прямо у отеля чудесный сад с водопадом, где можно гулять и устраивать фотосессии. В номере халаты махровые на каждого, пижамы и халаты хоопковые в японском стиле

die Ausstattung des Zimmer, kleine Zimmer, kein zweiter Nachtisch und Lampe.
Veraltete Zimmerausstattung keine Rolladen, keine Dusche, kleine Fenster, alte Gardinen, befleckter Fußbodenteppich, zu einem Preis von über 350€/Nacht. Im Gegensatz dazu, ein Zimmer in Marina Bay Sands Singapur mit über 50m2, hochwertigster Ausstattung, Schwimmbad auf der höchsten Etage, erstklassiges Frühstück, auch Omelett und heiße Schokolade. Hochwertige und exklusive Bade-Utensilien, zwei Waschbecken, versenkbarer großer Bildschirm, atomatische auf/zufahrende Gardinen, über die gesamte Fensterfront von 6-7 m, zu einem Preis von unter 350€/Nacht, bei 5Sternen!!!

Pros:

This hotel felt very “old money.” Classy, upscale, not flashy. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but there are a million shops and restaurants to choose from on the property. It’s not just a hotel— it’s a retreat! The grounds were gorgeous and every restaurant we tried was delicious. Top notch staff, super friendly and helpful. The whole family loved this hotel. I would absolutely stay here again.

Cons:

It felt a little tucked away, but it was quiet and lovely and clean, so it was a fair trade off.
