Complimentary breakfast for one day was nice, felt safe and room was clean.
They didn’t have my room key set up twice, had to park my car on my own even when they said they have valet, didn’t have cleaning available after 4pm, had to log into my own account for Netflix, staff was so rude that they decided not to help me with an issue regarding my stay and instead would talk to other coworkers when I’m trying to talk to them. The most ridiculous issue out of everything was parking. For a two night stay I had to pay $67 all because they didn’t inform me of this new policy they have and basically told me to read the tiny advisory they have at the front desk reception along with other signs they have that’s related to different information about that hotel and said they had “multiple” signs saying they don’t cover parking after 10 minutes which is a lie because they simply had one sign that states about parking but even that sign didn’t disclose information of having to pay for parking or the parking rate. Receptionist (Sandra) told me that they’ve been having this new policy for years but funny thing I stayed back in 2024 and this “new” policy wasn’t enforced when I stayed to which another staff member said they only had this parking policy for a year so pretty new. Even when I talked to front desk when I first had to park my car at the parking facility they just said to keep the ticket..that’s it only to keep the ticket and didn’t even bother telling me just an FYI parking is not free you will have to pay. On top of that they have no manager/supervisor to speak with so you’re basically on your own. Very unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone or go anymore.
The night clerk does not know what he is doing. I came in the hotel at 430am wanting to book a whole day and I asked the clerk if I was good until the following day, he said yes, I said you sure I won't get you guys knocking at the| door at noon in 6 hours saying I need to check out? The night receptionist says, that is correct sir. At 12 I got a knock saying my time was up, so I paid 150 dollars for 7 hours which was very unpleasant cause I left to San Diego at 11am for work. I had to drive all the way back to Tijuana to speak with management only to have them not willing to listen or believe me. I told them to listen to the video, they said they did and didn't hear me ask about checkout . That was a outright lie, I asked 2 times. Management said she would get with me to see a resolution to this cause the night clerk indeed told me this , had I known, I would of literally walked 25 yards to wellintown and paid 20 dollars to check in early and it still be cheaper and just as nice. They did not own Any of their mistakes so I had to eat the 150 for 7 hours and rent again another day that was told to me in check in.
Then the night clerk told me the jacuzzi room was 200 dollars cause I had cash and he thought he could tell me 200 and keep the 60.dollars cause it was really only 140. As soon as he learned I didn't have the entire 200 incash he never corrected the amount and just charged my card 140 cause he realized he couldn't scam me out of 60 dollars.
Why the overnight receptionist told me it was 200 a night? Thought I was laying in cash so he tried to Squeeze out 60 free dollars he could pocket. Scammer. Never had change either but yet they have a store right there but can't break a 20 dollar bill, somehow it's his way of scamming as well
