Excellent decor
Proper mugs for morning tea!
The Lion was great as always with lovely spacious and comfortable room. The food was great and as we were unable to make breakfast on 2 mornings they gave us a credit towards an evening meal.

Room was nice although needed a dust, lots of cobwebs on some of walls bathroom had no window or working extractor fan so smelt musty and shower was very small.
Bring back the delicious natural yoghurt with mango and berry compote at breakfast!

The staff were welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable with good tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant had a good atmosphere and the food was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. The location was very convenient and the property was easy to find. The property was very dog friendly as well.

Freezing breakfast room…full of smoke…no heat…! no Croissants,no fruit…..cold bedroom…coffee machine temperamental…
Fabulous pub. Arrived at Reception, they were very welcoming, took us to our room and made sure we were happy with everything. We had a lovely meal and a very relaxed evening. Our accommodation was brilliant, clean and very imaginatively thought out.
Breakfast was delicious.
If we're back in the area we'll definately book again and will definately recommend to all our family and friends.
