Hotel was so clean, modern and had a really nice atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent and staff very warm welcoming. Rooms were so modern and had a great 'country' feel to them

We have family in Malpas, so the Lion was an ideal location. The food was outstanding. The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Which made our stay very pleasant. The room was cosy and comfortable. The rooms looked out over a gorgeous court yard. Definitely stay there again. 😊

Everything was good

There was music blasting from a DJ until 11pm. Along with a saxaphone player playing over the top of songs. The windows in the room were so thin I could hear everything. Also the walls are so thin I could hear everything the neighbours were doing in the bathroom. Then some stranger started smoking outside my room and yelling until 12pm. It was very scary. The wifi was so so slow too.
Avoid this place - it is so bad.
Great service, excellent breakfast and room clean and comfortable.
Parking was little tricky when we got back one evening as they had a planned event at the hotel which we were told about, ended up putting the car on the main street and waited until spaces were available which wasn't too long.
