We loved this hotel. The location is unbeatable, within walking distance to everything. The staff was very kind and made us feel truly welcome. We were celebrating a birthday, and they placed a birthday card, some chocolates, and a bottle in the room. The hotel’s aesthetic and design are beautiful as well. There's also plenty of coffee shops, shops, restaurants in the area which is an always a plus. Parking was $45 a night -- which, given the location, we felt was fair.

They never picked up my room service trays. I was on the same floor as the fitness center and someone was very loud at 6 am.
excellent location and great amenities - from pool to restaurants. the bunk rooms were great for a girls trip and bathroom was spacious for getting ready. the front desk was very accommodating to special requests.
the rooms were extremely dark. the HVAC didn’t circulate to the bunk room well so it got stuffy at night. showers with a partial glass shower wall are cold, provide no privacy, and make a huge mess.
The location was fantastic, what a cool street and great coffee downstairs too. A bit of a hiccup with check-in, but it was acknowledged and dealt with very professionally.
The beds are very soft - we understand it is a personal preference. But we really wish it was firmer!
The property was very chic and Austin cool.
The shower had a window open to the bed room.
The rooms were very comfortable. It was clean and peaceful. The staff were extremely responsive and helpful. They had a complementary gift waiting for us because it was our anniversary. Every request we made was honored. We were worried about noise because there was an NYE party on the first floor, but we heard nothing.
We were a little disappointed with the south congress vibe. It’s gotten very commercial. But that has nothing to do with the hotel.

The humididty in the rooms
Incredible location. Overall chic interior.
The rooms felt a little rougher up with many scuffs, scrapes, and worn furniture.

Check in could be quicker
This hotel was well designed understated Austin theme. We checked out the pool deck, but it was too cold for our liking. It’s an unheated pool. We enjoyed the walk ability of this hotel, but it is a distance from downtown Austin. $45 for parking at the hotel. Many food and shopping options located nearby.

Rooms too dark - need better lighting. No coffee machine in room. Pillows very uncomfortable.
