Had a perfect long weekend away
Pros:

Its location, very clean room/hotel. Good powerful shower. Room service was great after completely our Munro’s 🥰

Cons:

It was quite noisy. Can’t pick your neighbours unfortunately but a lot of door slams in the corridor and someone cutting the grass very early in the morning one morning 😂

Comfortable one night stay in lovely scenic countryside
Pros:

The hotel overall was very clean and tidy, with a rather grand entrance lobby. The internal decor may not be to everyone's taste but I have seen far worse in other areas of the Highlands, (go to Aviemore if you want to see garish tartan and hideous over-painted rainbow cow pictures, or rather, don't bother!), at least the decor here was a bit more subtle, and everywhere was clean. There were various seating areas around the place if people wanted to socialise outside of their rooms. Our room was a very nice first floor standard room with a good view over the mountain scenery. It was immaculately clean, good comfy beds and pillows, and the bathroom was a decent size. This is a coach party hotel so reception does get very busy, but the staff on both arrival and check out were very friendly, professional and efficient. We did not eat here as there is plenty of other choice in Tyndrum.

Cons:

Tour coaches waiting outside the lobby at 6.30am with their engines running whilst they loaded peoples suitcases for early departure was annoying and unnecessary - engine idling particularly in diesel vehicles this size is just laziness, entitlement and stinks the place out with fumes.
We didn't eat breakfast here partly due to other reviews about the buffet being scavanged by the coach parties before anyone else gets a chance, but generally in my opinion hotel breakfasts are over-priced, poor quality, and you can get better elsewhere.

Location within beautiful mountains. Large rooms. Friendly staff.

Cons:

We had a noisy fuse box in the room. Another room had a window that couldn’t be properly closed but staff changed the room swiftly. I think hotel needs a bit of renovation in general.
