Pros:

příjemný pokoj, velmi dobrá lokalita, skvělý personál, výborné snídaně, dostatek místa na parkováni, každý den doplňování čaj/káva, zásuvky u postele včetně vypínače hlavního světla

Cons:

chyběly mi čajové lžičky - k dispozici byla míchátka či při snídani dřevěné lžičky/velké lžíce, na našem pokoji nebyla k dispozici skříň, jen pár ramínek a noční stolky

Cons:

La pulizia del bagno lasciava un po a desiderare….(lo scopino del wc era imbarazzante)
Abbiamo chiesto il prezzo della colazione ed era molto costosa… ci avevano chiesto 30pound in due e abbiamo rinunciato dato che la sera prima avevamo mangiato alla carta e speso 40 pound.

Pros:

Es handelt sich um ein interessant gestaltetes Hotel, in dem wir auf dem WHW 2 Nächte übernachtet haben. Das ZImmer mit Bad war angenehm groß und sehr komfortabel und sauber, die übrigen Einrichtungen im Hotel vielfältig (Bar mit großem Aufenthaltsraum mit z.B. Tischtennisplatte). Das Frühstücksbuffet war riesig.

Cons:

Was manchmal etwas stört, sind die vielen Busreisenden, die in großen Gruppen zusammensitzen und die Lautstärke beim Frühstück und beim Abendessen mitunter sehr hochschrauben.

Pleasant stay at reasonable price for the location
Pros:

Comfortable, pleasant room in a hotel that was ideal for our travel needs. The member of staff that served us in the restaurant in particular was pleasant and helpful. Food was good and reasonable in price.

We would happily stay at the Ben Doran again.
Pros:

Our room was large and comfortable with a fine, wide bed. The staff in the dining room were exceptional in their dedication to serving us well and their service was a high point of our holiday.

Cons:

The servicing of our bedroom was a bit patchy during our stay.

Inexpensive room and good value in an accessible part of the Highlands
Pros:

Very good value. Hotel is a bit "tired" and could be a 4 star rather than a 3 star with refurbishment and more amenities. But then it would cost more, so the experience was fine for me. Staff are very helpful and the restaurant is efficient. Hotels in this area are typically more expensive, double or even triple the price, for only a marginal improvement in offer, ie decoration or food/drink. Seems popular with coach parties interested in being out and about with no hassle.

Cons:

The hotel was advertised as a three star which is fair - the decoration and rooms were worn and dated and a mix of Scottish Baronial and generic international - although it is a four-star sized hotel. The room was competitively priced as a consequence. The restaurant was efficient but the bar area was large and open and not somewhere that felt relaxing - I think there is a smaller quieter public lounge.

Pratique et passable. Très bien pour une nuit.
Pros:

L’emplacement était pratique, proche de la route, très bien pour y passer une nuit. La chambre était confortable, la literie aussi.

Cons:

Le personnel était moyen. Nous avions l’impression de déranger. Le petit déjeuner n’était que de 7h à 9h alors il ne fallait pas trainer. La nourriture était moyenne.
