Pros:

Das Zimmer war ganz schön und die Bar oben unterm Dach hatte einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Highlands.

Cons:

Das das Bad nach altem Rauch gestunken hat und der Boden nicht richtig sauber war. Die Bar ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen kann man aber schon fast als Kult sehen das es dreckig war in den Ecken war weniger schön.

Cheap, over-touristy and basic

Good situation and got an upgrade on my room on arrival (that was nice!) and basic “comfort”

Cons:

Mould in the shower, uncomfortable mattresses, a pillowcase smelled of perfume, obviously jt had not been changed, moths were flying in the room (not midges, moths), dust on lamps and furniture, common touristy breakfast (no porridge!). Had the feeling I was in an over-touristy hotel without real care for what makes it memorable. A pity because the location is great!

Centrale ligging, avondeten en ontbijt inbegrepen.

Buffet avondeten viel een beetje tegen qua variatie. Maar wat er was is ook prima te eten.

Pros:

The property is in a fantastic location and is set within beautiful grounds. We travelled by car and found the free on-site parking to be very convenient, with plenty of spaces available throughout our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. Our room exceeded our expectations and was even nicer than we had anticipated. When we mentioned this to the staff, they explained that some of the rooms had been renovated over the winter, so the photos online haven't yet been updated to reflect the refurbished rooms.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, brilliant location.

Hotel was beautiful. Staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was awesome!!! Room was large and comfortable. Location was central and perfect for West Highland Way walkers.
