Schöne Aussicht!

Cons:

Ein in die Jahre gekommener alter Kasten. Personal unfreundlich und nicht flexibel. Check In Zeit wurde mit 15 Uhr genau eingehalten. Keine Minute früher. Somit haben ca. 15 Gäste bis dahin in der Lobby zu warten um dann gleichzeitig die Zimmerkarten bekommen zu wollen. Trotz mehrmaliger Anfrage ob vielleicht doch das Zimmer schon bezugsfertig wäre wurde ohne nachzusehen verneint. Spabereich schmuddelig und nicht sehr sauber.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was large and had everything we needed.

Cons:

We booked a family room which according to the descriptions on here was a double and single bed. However this was not the case, it was a double with a fold out bed, the single bed was forgotten and we had to wait for them to put it up.

For the money the hotel room was extremely basic. We chose to stay because we thought it would be a more luxury experience, but the room was basic. Nice and clean but very ‘travel lodge’ there was nothing outstanding or interesting about it

Pros:

We booked last minute one night we only booked basic room .room little small but every thing you needed with a large bathroom with bath and seperate shower we were at back of hotel so no sea view but that was to be exspected. carpets a little dated but for price no complaints breackfast was good pleanty choice and staff were freindly and helpfullhas obviousle been a great hptel in its day enjoyed the pool and spa area

Cons:

It is what it is .bit tired but price reflects this .bit of a climb up the hill from the sea front but thats Scarborough if i stayed in Scarborough again id concider staying here again but probabley choose a larger room

Cons:

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt überhaupt nicht. Zimmer in verwohntem Zustand, fleckige Teppichböden, alte Möbel. Badezimmer seit Ewigkeiten nicht mehr renoviert. Schmuddelige Tische und Stühle in der Lobby und Bar….. die Eigentümer sollten dringend in Modernisierungen investieren, das Hotel hat Potenzial und die Lage ist super. Aber man merkt sehr sehr stark, dass einfach seit Jahren nichts investiert wird in den Erhalt der Zimmer, in Modernisierung und Erhalt des Gebäudes!! Sehr traurig

Very disappointing
Pros:

The location and sea view

Cons:

The hotel is tatty, I had to move rooms because the bedding in the 1st room was grubby, also curtains were falling apart and paint was peeling on ceilings.

2nd room was tatty but at least the bedding was cleaner.

I do not rate this as even close to the standard of a 4 star hotel.

Breakfast was buffet and some items had already gone cold.

Overall, this was very disappointing. At least I was offered another room even though it wasn't much better than the 1st.

Hotel generally a bit run down. A bit scruffy in parts and not as clean as it could be. Definitely not worthy of 4 stars!

Nice big hotel very bright a warm welcome nice large rooms. Nice breakfast on offer.

Cons:

Spa area shown age seen better days., wasnt the cleanest the floors was dirty and the changing rooms was dirty.

Pros:

Not much - I guess the gym was nice

Cons:

The room was absolutely filthy. There were wrappers on the nightstands, chocolate. Holes in the walls. The worst thing was the bathroom - hairs everywhere, bugs coming out from the drain. I stayed one night and quickly changed hotels

Pros:

Beautiful sea view from bedroom

Cons:

It’s seem needed update rooms and outdoor buildings. The bedroom was very warm all weekend as had 2 fans to try cooler down but the windows opened and curtains closed. Struggle to sleep through night and bed need update sane as pillows. Bathroom was so wen and sewer smell
