We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing and it was such a great experience. Every course was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the wine pairings really elevated each dish.
Cornell truly made the night. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everything feel relaxed and enjoyable.
Highly recommend the tasting menu — and if Cornell is hosting, you’re in for a fantastic evening!

The spa itself was beautifully serene, offering the perfect escape from the bustle of London. The treatments were soothing, unhurried, and delivered with such care that I left feeling completely renewed.
Afternoon tea was equally impressive—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and truly indulgent without ever feeling overwhelming. The selection of pastries, sandwiches, and sweets was delightful, and the atmosphere made the experience feel wonderfully elegant yet personal.
A very special mention must go to Matt and Emmy, who elevated the entire visit. Their warmth, attentiveness, and dedication to excellent service made all the difference. They struck the perfect balance between professional and personable, ensuring everything ran smoothly while making me feel genuinely looked after. Their hospitality was a standout highlight of the day.
I cannot recommend The Atheneum highly enough for anyone looking to treat themselves or someone special. It’s a beautiful blend of luxury, comfort, and outstanding service—and thanks to Matt and Emmie, it became an experience I won’t forget.
